Thank you for sharing this strategy, I will try to implement it for my health goals. Try to break the big goal into smaller pieces and focus on achieving the smaller goals. This is how it's supposed to work right? Or am I missing something?

Im overweight... but i love to jogg. I cant pass 20 minutes.. but i sometimes do 30 and 40. What i hate with ny guts is to jogg with a scorching sun. I hate it. And its almost always like that outiside. It breaks my routines apart.
Instead of visualizing your goals, which tends to make you feel like you completed them even if they're far away, focus on the next checkpoint and visualize your obstacles to inspire action.
I mean I agree, but anyone who runs even a little bit, this is common sense. Most running is effort intensive and requires internal concentration or “narrow attention” to regulate your pace & breathing. Visual cues are ok but not the goal at least in distance. Visual could work in sprinting I guess but some of this sounds like BS.

1000 words, repeated in a circular way, to say to achieve any goal "Narrow your focus on a visual target. Focus on the next right step".
Haha these self help bullshitters do that, act like it is some great science

The Saturn being the steong character is very compelling!
Remember to celebrate short term goal victories, not just the long term goals.
Really useful. Thank you!
really interesting research. Thanks

Use the same motivation strategies a professional athlete adopts to win high stakes competitions to get my accounts done on time doesn't.
