So they wrote the song as an expression of how he felt about the ocean. So many people won't listen to this particular song because of the title alone. This song comes between "Rocket Skates" and "Risk" on the album both of which are heavier songs than this musically. This song brings down the energy after Rocket Skates (which I think should have been reacted to first imo) and sets one up nicely for Risk which is heavier but also has more of a melodic feel.
