The more you dive into Tool and Deftones it's like experiencing "Controlled chaos". Like being in the eye of the storm and everything around you is getting destroyed but you're somehow in peace.
Now you need to hear their song Passenger. Also, you should listen to deftones songs all the way through, there is something magical about the way the songs decay into nothing.
Passenger is just on a whole other level than most music in general, IMO. It's one of the few truly 'perfect' rock songs ever made. Get maynard and some drugs in a room and see what kind of crazy shit happens, rofl.

But you guys are smart you don't have to listen to me. I've only seen them live seven times and I've been listening to them since 1996. Oh yeah I seen them live three times in one calendar week in Florida in 2006. To me, it's a spiritual connection with those guys, I'll never have too much Deftones. It's not possible. Its apparently about electrocuting a girl in a bathtub, hence why "digital bath", even though many of us don't believe thats the meaning of the song as Chino usually doesn't write so straightforward.

So far I've gone through the Deftones music, discovering it from the oldest albums to the newest. I still have to do the newest 2, but so far 'You've seen the butcher' has got to be my favorite. It's not very complex but if you crank it up in a car or something with a strong low-end, my god it's so heavy and thicc.

This is way out there as far as the music you have listened to on your channel. Check out NOFX "The Decline". They are a punk band that started out very simple and loud and have worked their way up as musicians , playing a lot more complicated riffs and beats. The song is long but the amount of changes and the level of work on it is amazing
