No wonder your Pomp's look so droopy and flat. They lack volume at the front and the titular 'pomp' just blends into the back. It's more like a overgrown slick-back. It needs a tad bit more volume.
Try a volumizing powder if a hair dryer and heat protectant are too much trouble for you.

My theory is that drier hair has more volume or that "thicker look". For a more thinner look, wet hair is best.
It can come down to personal preference but the more fluffier look is best with dry hair. I've tested both ways and proved my point.
Critics are welcome for my comment but it comes down to what you prefer.

Kevin Karnoto I love Kent combs better than ordinary plastic ones as they don't have sharp teeth. And mine haven't broken over the years I've had them.
Kevin Karnoto get an ion comb if you really want a long tooth. Kent makes really nice ones (i have the 20T hairdressing it does me wonders) but they are mainly just novelty items

but how do u get the volume though? my hair is thick as fuck and needs to be long otherwise its just going to stick out like crazy. blow drying is the only way i get volume because if i dont its just going to lay flat.

I only use my hair dryer for my beard. coolest setting and lowest speed. It makes a crazy difference in the way a beard looks. On the head, takes too much time and effort fo sho. The beard takes 30 secs. using it on your head means heat, heat protectant, pre styling, post styling, and 72 combs and brushes lol and it takes a long ass time
