    Would I be able to buy a set of engine mounts? The ones where I wouldn’t have to modify the head.

    Do you happen to know if a ltr cylinder will fit a rmz 450?

    What is the reason for an rmz motor and not just rebuilding the original motor?

      The quad is 35+Lbs lighter with the RMZ engine set up.Stronger transmission,The RMZ engine also makes more power stock ++

    How is the power difference compared the ltr motor ?

    • @steinarildwiikhansen890
      @steinarildwiikhansen890  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Powerwise a stock RMZ is comparable to a built LTR engine(headwork,cams,porting etc..) But the lighter weight also gives it better power to weight ratio + the RMZ transmission is a lot stronger..

    What modifications you have to do for it all to work

      This one is a bit special with the custom head.The standard RMZs i use a pivot mount and move the engine forward and to the side to line up the sprockets.Custom motor mounts and tronics bracket.
      LTR fuelpump,fpr with slight mods to fuel lines.Custom exhaust mid section.LTR airbox and intake tube.Slight mods to rad hoses.

      Have you got any pictures of the rear engine mount you made to move the engine forward and to the side.

    Can this be done with a 2018+ rmz?

    • @steinarildwiikhansen890
      @steinarildwiikhansen890  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes,but with engine mounts that moves the engine slightly forward and to the side to line up the sprockets and for intake to clear the rear shock mount,I have built a few like that in the past.This one has a head with the intake port modified to clear rear shock mount etc..
