LTR-CRF 450R Hybrid walkaround

A walk around of my new hybrid build with some info on parts used and start up.A more indepth video will be out later covering cost and how to + some options.Feel free to subsribe for notifications on new videos and I will try to answer any questions you might have in the comments.

The newer CRF 450 engines are mutch faster than the LTR engines with a more modern engine design + you loose a chunk of wight w the hybrid engine set up.

Where did u get the thumb throttle and the water pump cover.

Bought the levers from China of ebay.Waterpump cover was ordered from Joe Massen Racing in Holland,you can also get them from Walsh and JB racing.Hamson Racing on fb may also be able to get you one.

Did you need a spacer for the pivit bolt to line up the motor and sprockets?

Yes and take away a few mm on the left side of the pivot area on the Swing arm.Then flip the front sprocket and everything lines up.

Which is the easier swap, rmz or crf

Would say the CRF as this engine fits the best right of the bat.Year 18 and forward.

Does Europe have a big atv market?

Some countrys do but with only Yamaha offering a new 450 sportquad out of the big OEMs the hybrid scene is getting bigger and bigger.A few companys mainly in the Netherlands offer new hybrids built in their own frames etc..

The Netherlands has a big sports and hybrid ATV market. They do export their machines around the world.

Did you have to cut the rear shock mount for the stock boot and box to fit?

No frame mods needed when using 18 or newer CRF 450.

@@fitimmustafa4902 Plastics are new oem, got them from a online warehouse that sells oem parts for all years LTR.The red tank and radiator covers are specisl order from Maier as the oem is black.
