This is how my channel started Linda. I posted my book as a method of sharing it with someone else as I wasn't on any social media. I didn't realise that other people could see it if I hadn't given them a link...

I’ve gone back to the beginning of your videos and I’m slowly enjoying them. Starting with your 100 days of stitching book. And Lo my eyes lighted on Sycamore Gap, a treasured page in your little book, so sad to live without it now. I loved your mossy wall…… I’d love to see you doing a cheeky little Scarlet Pimpernel. I’ve found one growing out of a pavement recently and I picked a tiny stem of it and it’s grown loads of tiny roots. I’ll pot it up and if it takes ok I will squeeze it into my own ‘mossy wall’ hope that it lives happily ever after.

Crikey Sue... I definitely stitched for more than 15 minutes!
The Idea was to work for a minimum of 15 minutes a day. Mostly I think I did an hour or so. But one or two took longer than that and some were just 15 - 20 minutes.

I love all the pages, your ribbon work, the tree trunks and all. My favorite though is the abstract that you cut into strips. That was really making lemonade out of lemons. Thank you for your lovely message Trish. I hope you're really enjo getting into your stitching journey. There's so much you can do and so much to find out about. I've sewn and crafted since I was a child and am still learning new things now. It's wonderful!
Yes. TH-cam has been a revelation to me. Before I started my channel I just used it to look up the odd thing here and there.

Hello! I just popped over to see your channel and it's lovely. It says you're in France, but you sound like you're from my neck of the woods! Newcastle or South Shields maybe? Although I west of Bishop Auckland I've never lost my Sunderland accent!
I'm very jealous of your second hand sewing markets.... Nothing like that here. I'd be there in a jiffy fighting you for the old linens!

I looked forward to seeing these 6 pages after watching 1-6 last night. You’ve created wonderful dimension. Embroidery is usually work in two dimensions. Your art is something else, more crewel, more creative. I looked at photos of Sycamore Gap. It’s an inspiration, sorta the tree of life, Yggdrasil. I LOVE your videos. I’ll watch more pages tomorrow night. You’re video are terrific thus far. Thanks!

I'm so pleased you like them Mara. Sycamore Gap is a lovely place to visit on Hadrian@s Wall. It can be very atmospheric too. Years ago my son wanted to take some photographs of dawn. It was summer... we had to be there for about 4am! It was truly amazing though..

Trees and foxgloves beautiful. I used to live in Durham and grew my foxgloves, I potted some up when I had to move and after 2 house moves they are now planted in the Yorkshire Dales giving lovely memories and the bees love them. Thanks for sharing x

Thank you Lorna. I love foxgloves. Can you believe that people used to ask me to weed them out when I was a gardener? I used to say sorry to them....and also, in the parts of the garden they didn't see so much, I used to leave them to flower.😅
I love Yorkshire too, the Moors and the Dales.
