I did a side-by-side build of the original 1993 1/144 and HGUC kits of the Victory 2 Gundam. I was impressed with the 1994 kit; it has most of the color apps and decent articulation. It even came with a stand and wings of light effect parts (that fit into the hguc!). The proportions were mostly good, except for its big clown feet. Overall, the HGUC is superior, but the 1994 kit was cutting edge at the time.
In the Gunpla community these are call No Grade 1/100 or NG 1/100 for short.
Slipped the G-Saviour in there... Nice... I still enjoy some of the old kits even if it's nostalgia.
Yeah it's real man the Box start is just insane I don't know what the hell they don't do this no more I mean they still do but I'm just saying like it just looks more better like this one but still good video

Have to hop in to rep the vintage kits. Vintage kits are 100% worth making, but you need to have solid building skills and put in the time to paint and customize them. I've done several vintage kits and they are by far the most rewarding builds out there. that 1/100 Dahgi Iris XM-06 looks incredible. NEED to pick that one up.

Man why do I like more to Old manuals not kidding now compared to then let's talk about now the only thing now that they show is a white background and just the parts that you have to do and that's it but the old ones they show like a picture of the pilot and the mobile suit that they had and then some small information that was cool what did they get rid of that
If they were to remake the F91 kits they'd most likely be HG ad P-Bandai.
These box arts are incredible.
The oldest kits I built were the Wing EW 1/144 HG Serpent, Heavy Arms and Altron. Although the Serpent had the worse articulation of the three, it was the most enjoyable one to build. But that's just me.
90s Gunplas are not something that you can enjoy OOB. They need painting & even gluing, closer to Tamiya's military model kits.
Bandai are not gonna remake these kits to Modern standard if there no demand for them.
