Aww Percy is adorable and what a sweet addition to your family. Buster seems to really like him too which is so sweet, and Earl is so laid back that i am sure he will love him just as much. :)
Is Percy going to be coming out of that small cage soon? Needs to be WAY bigger. I understand youl'll prob be getting a more approiate sized one soon, but the poor lil guy looks desperate to get out. I hate seeing them in small cages. Is this the cage he came with? Please give him more to climb on at the bottom. I commented on another vid about partially covering his cage for him to feel safe and secure. Also about 'night fright'. Something Weiro's/Cockateils are prone to. Partially covering his cage on one side and all of the back and top during the day, and full cover at night will help him feel safe. It'll help with his transition also.. Not having anything covering the top of the cage will make him feel vuberable and on edge. Whether hes not had a cover all his life or not. They're more settled with some kind of cover, so they feel safe from predators coming from above as they do in the wild. In the wild, they dont stay out in the open on their own. Theyre usually in flocks of thousands. Nice to know he was looked after previously. Hope to see him out enjoying himself soon. Maybe a walk in the sun to visit the 'girls' ? ❤
