- Finished the Z3 Subwoofer project. Kinda difficult to show you its full potential without getting hit with a copyright claim. It can hit had but, its not a 10 or 12....You won't be dropping panties anytime soon.

I just completed this box and installed amps and sub with new speakers. It sounds completely AWESOME!!!!! 1999 BMW Z3 Convertible. Could not have even gotten close without your videos and information. I can't believe the 6.75 subs sounds so good. Finally, music with the top down. Thanks. Tim

that 6.75 worked out well? After watching this Im thinking of going this route. Does that tiny box do well with that little sub?

Hi from Ireland I also made this sub box it looks cool a very informative video I need your advise on setting and matching the amp to the sub woofer I purchased the same sub as yours but I now found out mime is 2 ohms as opposed to yous at 1ohm using a multi meter can you advise me how you matched your system thanks my amp is a Kenwood KAD 6104D I was unable to purchase the kicker Amp in my country’
Do you think you could tell me what speakers, amp, and sub you got? And how much it ended up costing you? I have a 1999 bmw z3 convertible as well and Im just opening up my mind to changing the stock speakers and sub for something a bit more modern
I did something similiar to my Z3. I replaced the entire rear console with a custom box in the same shape as the original console. I holds some Kicker 6.5 components. Not really killer bass, but real clean and accurate sound. I got enough room for a compact self powered sub behind the seat.

Raymond Urias keep doing the z3 videos, invest in a dash mount for your camera and do some commentaries
L7 Siege I have thought about it, but my exhaust and wind noise from the convertible make it hard. I'll definitely try it

Sup Bro I was thinking of dong the same thing however I want the sub to fire down instead to get better reflection. What's your take on this??
I didn't have enough space to do that and I tried. Ultimately I think a forward firing box would be great

Good work on the sub install! Using stock amp/dsp? Also, HK system or no?
+Mobius_1 kicker mono AMP. No dsp, maybe when I do the doors I'll remove the old HK amp and go from there.
in less than 10 years, should be impossible to find a still clean and original Z3 in USA. Too much tuning, bad tastes always.. sad cars
