The new Model Y that produced after May 2023 came with 2 screws that you have to remove before removing the dashboard. Please make sure you remove 2 screws one on each side before you remove the dashboard.
FYI for right-hand drive models. The blue switch is located on the right-hand side (driver side), and it's hidden inside part of it. I had fun locating it on the passenger side and wasted an hour on that side. There is a blue switch on the passenger side, but DO NOT use that.

It seems like the latest update on Tesla software caused most of front display issues. I’m not sure about software updates on this particular display to fix the issue at the moment. I would try to check on the website product page for new software update. Thank you for your great support!🙏😃

They keep requiring that I provide them proof of purchase (which I did 3 times now) and a "video of the issue" which I took both picture and video of the issue and I end up being asked for proof of purchase again. Did you already take delivery of your Model Y performance with HW4? As far as I know, there is no confirmed Model Y with HW4 yet. I've only had it for one day but the first thing that jumps out as a difference is the video quality with HW4 is noticeably brighter and the colors more accurate with the new cameras and the headlights are greatly improved with the new matrix headlights.

I’m planning on ordering a HUD for 23 MYP. What do you think is the best one to buy? Would like it to look factory and be easily visible with the normal steering wheel.
If you don’t really need CarPlay or Android auto and only need something simple with easy installation then this should be the right one. Also great for summer as it doesn’t block the air flow like other bigger size displays. There is also 5” display with OEM look. Hi Shiva.I just istalled my mini 5.2 dsplay on my 22 model 3.Evrything works great. But I had a had time squizing the colum plastic covers together. Subsquently one of the clips broke off. I did not notice if the screen can be detached from the steering column cover. I hope you can and hopfully Hansshow will send me a new cover. Thank you. Justin.
Hi, It's Paul here not Shiva. I'm not they would replace the unit for you if you broke it during installation. You can try to email Hansshow and see what they say. If not the cover should still stay on very well with one missing clip. Thank you for your great support!

Most of the display manufacturers and sites are not saying if their products are compatible with this version of the Model Y.

Im confused here 🤔 why would Hamshow as you when you purchase for MPH or KM when then when you get the MPH unit is still set up as KM reading 🙈. What's the point of asking and making selection.
My unit was an early preproduction that’s why it came with KM instead of MPH and needed to be updated. But the options that they have on their website were for final production product which assume they have to set either KM or MPH from the factory so when you receive the product you don’t have to update it like I had to. I ordered this product a week ago with selected MPH then when I received the product this week and I installed it last night the unit still shows KM instead MPH that is why I commented about what's the point of selecting MPH or KM. You should check with them about this because it's a hassle to get a micro SD then download then install then reset.

If you email them they do have July update (3.9 Air code meter Canbus upgrade.20240705(3)(2)) file, I just updated mine and all good now.

does it reset to km/h each time tesla updates their software?
I think you only have to update one time on the device.

@@rj8u agree! I’ve been asking them if they would come out with high quality windshield projected HUD but they said no so far.
