As much as I would love to see a Shay like No. 14 return to the Georgetown Loop, I believe the Ashbys' ties with History Colorado (the Colorado Historical Society) are now severed due to their contract negotiations falling apart in 2004. However, I would like to see the oft-mentioned lease-purchase agreement between Rosa Ashby (the owner of No. 14) and Roaring Camp Railroads come into fruition sometime soon. Besides, Roaring Camp has two former West Side geared engines with whom No. 14 can potentially reunite and operate with (Two-Truck Heisler No. 2 "Tuolumne" (formerly No. 3) and Three-Truck Shay No. 7 "Sonora").
I would love to use a clip of this video in a TH-cam video I'm making about the two C&S passenger cars now in the shed. I've never seen a video of them while sitting on Morning Star siding in Silver Plume. Would you mind if I used that small piece? If not, that's okay, but I just wanted to ask. Thanks so much.
I sincerely hope that the Georgetown loop railroad will bring one of their shays back

@@keijimuramoto I believe that plan too fell apart. I’m not 100 though
Well the the engines are at the Colorado railroad museum now they used to work in 2009 but now they don’t. Dunno why
Hopefully 14 will return to the Georgetown Loop one day, though it seems very unlikely.
Hope there’s video of 2-8-0 44 soon
Ol 14 doesnt seem to have gotten a lot of recognition. Really sad, I hope GLRR brings it back someday
