Mists of Hereford and the Hills of Great Malvern Cycle Ride

- A cycle ride around Hereford city and the hills of Great Malvern in England.
I've had Great Malvern down in my note pad as an idea for a cycle ride for a while. I had another plan to try and fit in an extra Christmas Special cycle ride film but it fell through as the logistics just didn't work out. I had a short amount of time to try and come up with an alternative location that I could achieve avoiding the train strikes and finding a day where the weather would work. I picked Great Malvern and slotted in Hereford to fill the day.
There was only one day in December that I could do this ride and thankfully the weather held out beautifully as did the trains.
The Great Malvern Hills were much larger and more imposing than I imagined they would be and turned out to be the perfect end to my cycle rides for 2023.
A big thank you to everyone who has joined my channel this year and watched my films, it's really given me a boost and appreciation.
A shout-out to the cyclist guys I met in the pub in Great Malvern. It was great to meet you all.
Thank you to all the venues I've used this year from pubs, cafes and a hotel that helped make my adventures work.
And thanks to those I usually meet along the way, on the trains. I don't think a cycle day goes by without meeting an interesting person.

Another brilliant film, love Hereford, it’s a cracking city, Malvern looks very nice, will have to go there when the trains star running from the Rhondda, they reckon February, won’t hold my breath on that one thought, I bought a Brompton to take on the train, then we have been almost a year without a train 😄 looking forward to more of your adventures in 2024, happy new year 👍

That sounds like such a nice memory. It is a lovely place, especially in the morning when it’s quiet and the fog moving about.
It’s an electric guitar, 2007 Paul Reed Smith plugged into a Zoom 1010 effects rack from the 1990s for all songs with exception of City Pulse 22 which I used my guitar with a mic’d up Marshall JCM900 amp in a studio 🤭 just wanted ‘that’ sound.

I've recently inherited the vintage Hofner president and Acoustic Martin I learned to play on as a kid, from my muso father.
Just need to find the enthusiasm to fettle them up and start playing again.......

Hi hun, your music you play on your videos, can I get it on cd ?
Well I did put an album together called Lost and Forgotten with the first set of songs from the channel but I didn’t do anything with it. I didn’t think they were good enough for a CD. I could put them up on something like Band Camp or Sound Cloud for download may be?
