I have to thank you again for bringing back the difficulty ratings! And this is indeed a hard one, I managed to do 1:55:745, but it was quite hard for me, I struggled a lot with the understeer and the curbs that upset the car. I hope my time will be enough for gold
Just like most of the time I got gold by chasing your ghost. Thank's a lot. But it took me quite a long time, because this car has no brakes and it understeers absolutely mad. And the weight-transfer is so horrible.
A shame, the C4 was SOOOOO good before the physics update, it even had brakes! Same goes to the '19 C7 ZR1 and the '14 C7 Stingray, there's no way anymore to get these two flat-out around the Daytona oval. I really enjoy driving the old C4 Corvette with the widebody kit and a big wang and supercharger. fun way to do the american races in the weekly challenges.
I managed a 55.4. Had to turn on every assist in the book to get it done. Also not really enjoying how much you're able (have) to abuse the track limits in the LTC. Some tracks are worse than others, and this one is horrible. I find it really immersion breaking & really wish they'd tighten up the track limits to keeping atleast 1 wheel inside the white lines
Friendly and politely I will say: "2 minutes my ass" 😆. It was more like 4 hours :). Thanks for the tips, man. I wonder if the actual ZR1 handles and brakes this bad - it would be a huge disappointment! Thanks!
It would handle FAR worse at these speeds. Old school tires plus old school tech, nobody would even attempt a lap of a circuit like this. That said, the car is game is a boat
@@tidgney more so than the car, I'm starting to think this circuit and more specifically the chicane was designed by a complete psychopath. As much as I try to mimic your movements into those corners, I can't keep control of the car and not lose enough speed not to make gold :(

Engine braking doesn’t work anymore? So downshifting right when you start braking doesn’t help slow the car down?
Not as it used to, you used to spam downshift and it would really slow the car, that no longer works.
Lately, with your help, I've been able to crack a bunch of golds. Except this one. What a total absolute pile of trash this car is.
I'm trying not to hate on the car, but after driving it so many times on this track it is leaving a very sour taste in my mouth.
