Just tried the Battery /Click test and YES, solved the problem. A/C Relay replacement fixed the battery drain. Canadian Tire wanted to perform an entire ac system replacement (over $2000 job for my elderly mom). Brilliant, quick $20 self-fix -- THANK YOU so much!!!
Thank you, so much for this video! It was exactly the problem my 2006 Honda Element was having. That click was the give away and the relay had a rattle when I took it out.

Exact description of what is happening with my 2009 CRV, I recall that knocking sound. This happened after I went through a car wash and had an undercarriage wash. I believe that it shorted out the clutch and burned the relay shut. Does my theory hold water? no pun intended

I have been disconnecting the negative battery cord when I park up as no one seems to have any idea what it is till I saw this today.. When I reconnect it, there is a little spark but no click. Does the click only happen when the positive terminal is disconnected/reconnected?
I have a 09 Nissan Murano I replaced the alternator and battery what problem I’m having now is my lights fade from bright to dim when I turn on my headlights wipers are interior lights with this be a fuseable link on the battery that I would have to replace
Ive had a draw for 4 years... when it gets cold it drains fast... if cold and wet like overnight. Im lost. What are the settings I need for the voltmeter? Im really not experienced with voltmeters at all...
I have a 2012 Honda Civic LX. I bought a new battery and it keep draining overnight. I always have to jumpstart the car. I checked the AC clutch relay from the fuse box and I didn’t see any rust or corrosion. Please help me

Woke up a couple days with dead battery which was replaced 2 times within the last year.
Appears to work for the 2005 Honda Accord V6 as well.

How many A of mAs draw was the faulty relay causing?
