    I love the old bond movies because 007 had some more creativity like being smart while have a sense of humor, the one liners, Q with the gadgets including his assistance in missions, and the Bond girls had great development. Much as I like Daniel Craig as an actor, but I didn’t like the modern 007 because it got too violent, not enough of bond being smart while creative, and not gadgets to help 007 on missions, and not enough Bond girls development.

    CR-Bond discovering Le Chiffre's tell during poker based on knowing the odds as to whether Le Chiffre has a winning hand. Later, recognising that Vesper is wearing an Algerian Love Knot necklace.
    QOS- In the sink hole Bond deduces Quantum have used dynamite to cut off the water supply to a river, figuring out Greene's plan to control the water in Bolivia.
    Skyfall- Bond recognising Severine's tattoo and piecing together her backstory.
    Spectre- In Morocco Bond immediately identifies the 1948 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith.
    NTTD- Q trying to tell Bond that there's a complicated switching Mechanism to open the blast doors and he figures it out instantly.

      When Q is talking about the Fighting Temeraire battleship painting in Skyfall, the REAL James Bond would've flexed his knowledge of military history, NOT said "a bloody big ship" I can imagine Roger's Bond saying "The Fighting Temeraire! Played a key strategic role in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805!"
      And when you think of it, yeah, Craig's Bond is pretty incompetent. Casino and Skyfall he outright failed his mission, in NTTD someone else had to take down Spectre and in the end he got himself killed.

    • @Sgt_Glory

    • @malcolmparker8376
      @malcolmparker8376 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tcaudiobooks737 In DC Bond's defense, in "Skyfall," he was tired and, for the most part, didn't want to be there but was because of his sense of duty. He was probably prepared to flex his knowledge, but seeing some "kid" in a sweater vest was enough for him to just toss that out the window. He even gets up to leave, showing he really wanted nothing to do with him. In Casino, the whole film is about him being a loose canon, young, and impulsive, somebody who M promoted "too early," which is why he makes a lot of mistakes, and pretty much jeopardized the mission because of his ego. Skyfall, again, he was an old man playing a "young man's game" in a world he didn't understand, or so the movie tries to paint him. He actually succeeds in his mission initially, but Q fell for Sliva's plan, though I suppose one can argue Bond should have seen this coming a mile away. Everyone should have to be fair. And in NTTD, technically he quit, and he completed his mission in destroying Heracles. So the only real issue is that Bond left MI6, knowing Spectre was still out there. However, in Craig's universe, Bond doesn't have as strong a will to take down Spectre, as he did pre-Craig.

    • @TheChaosLupin
      @TheChaosLupin ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@malcolmparker8376 Craig’s “Bond” never matured. He kept making the same mistakes and wanted to quit in every mission. M: Bond, what do you know about the dinosaur called Edmontosaurus?
    Bond: Edmontosaurus? Ah, yes. Edmontosaurus is a genus of hadrosaurid dinosaur. It contains two known species: Edmontosaurus regalis and Edmontosaurus annectens. Fossils of E. regalis have been found in rocks of western North America that date from the late Campanian stage of the Cretaceous Period 73 million years ago, while those of E. annectens were found in the same geographic region but in rocks dated to the end of the Maastrichtian stage of the Cretaceous, 66 million years ago. Edmontosaurus was one of the last non-avian dinosaurs, and lived alongside dinosaurs like Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and Pachycephalosaurus shortly before the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event. Why sir?
