In the 2000s era, technologies were less but the developers had passion for making great games.
Now when they have every single thing of technologies to make a great game, no developers puts any efforts to make a great game
New games are all about graphics, & online. The rest seems rushed.
Because back then developers ware actually gamers trying to create a masterpiece now much like their ceo they could careless about the product. They’re just there for a paycheck that’s why they’re also afraid of getting cancelled now a days while back then games tried to see how edgy they could get

I don't understand how it's that today's games ,(not all of course) the developers have more technical and financial means (maybe eh I don't want to generalize if it's not the case everywhere ..) so the games should be better but I guess they got lazy because of that? (not all of them, huh, but still with the remakes of the Gta trilogy style, Saint Row, etc.) uh.. the remakes are already only basic, I don't really like this principle, but some games manage it very well, for example the remake of pokemon sapphire and omega (I had no other examples in mind 😅)

@@rsrules because now the focus is more on visuals and meaningless boring tasks to do in a big open world to make up for the short campaign, rather than on actual mechanics and systems within the game to make the game feel alive
I guess being a game developer back then was less demanding/shitty so ppl had more fun and put more effort into a game 🤷🏾♂️

In terms in content yes where you don’t understand the content is all appointed by the developer if the developer the creators of the game doesn’t put effort into making creative work or ideas into games it’s going to be a failed game that ppl won’t remember or even try go back playing

Let’s not forget to mention the older version had better customization too. Especially for hair, clothes and accessories.
Cheat codes and a Airport. They couldn't even be bothered to add that.
Saints Row 2 is a lot better of course but when it comes to stamina, you can actually get infinite stamina but you need to complete some activity, I'm not sure which one since it's been a while since I played SR2. It's still better than getting it right at the start of the game in my opinion
you do all three Insurance Fraud activities.
also for SR1 you do all the graffiti tag spots.

SR2 had so many unlockables, it’s insane
Saints 2 has Infinite Stamina - Complete all levels of Factories Insurance Fraud.
SR2 also has Infinite Ammo:
Infinite Pistol - Complete all levels of Projects Fuzz
Infinite Rifle - Complete all 5 Hitman Lists
Infinite SMG - Complete all levels of Downtown Snatch
Infinite Shotgun - Complete all levels of Airport Drug Deals
Homing RPG- Complete all levels of Nuc Plant Mayhem

I always think that part 2 is the best part of all games, it is my favorite game in the style of GTA
you can revive Npc and everyone else with shock paddles in SR2.. in GTA SA paramedic only can do that...
If they were lazy to put the details , they should have taken the codes from previous saints row game just like watch dogs do .

good day friend, I have the version of Saints row 2 from steam, but it works very badly for me and my team should support it, can you help me to configure it to look the same as in your video.
I recommend you look up Gentlemen of the Row mod it helps fix a bunch of issues on PC may sound a little complicated but it's your best way of playing Co-op and getting the game to work properly

I had SR2 on PS3 I want to get it again but you need premium to get it plus it's so expensive for just 1 year 119.00 dollars. So greedy
I have a PS3 & PS4, once I synchronized them (via PlayStation account) I was able to add funds on my PS4 and buy SR2 on my PS3. All the DLC is there if you buy the bundle and it was like $13 CAD. Probably cheaper to buy 2nd hand consoles and do that then deal with the PS+ money grab. :)

SR2 AND SR1 the kings of Saints Row . The Third the son of SR 1 and SR2 , also full of Saints Row elements (crazy, absurd , individual customization , side missions , destroying gangs etc..) . SR 2 has this goofy way of playing, but on the other side it gives you a dark and uncut sense of crime . (Carlos death f.e ..RIP brotha . Ways of killing high ranged members of other gangs like that right hand dude of "the general "..the Sons of Samedi . Or the Ronin..how they murdered Aisha , the girlfriend /wife (?) in the mission ..etc etc..
To add = Never buy a cut version of SR 2, it is worse than than you might think!!

SR2 is better than most game tbh.
Uhm actually, the water pressure of a fire hydrant is more realistic in SR than in SR2, because it can lift up cars (depending on the car of course) and the car standing over a broken hydrant would NEVER stop the water from getting out... though, sending the car flying is a bit too much.
Sure, the bike one is extremly unrealistic in SR, but I have to say, after getting knocked off the bike multiple times in GTA5/GTAO, I prefer this unrealistic approach.
And who the F needs Stamina in a game like this? For more realism?! Seriously?! There's literally no need for that.
The new saints row just feels so empty. I’d rather have a smaller open world with more to do than a bigger open world with nothing in it.

I agree with all but the fire hydrant thing. I feel like the hydrant sending cars up in the air would be very fitting for a saints row game. You can't really look for realism in a game like OG Saints Row, it's entirely whacky and cartoony and hydrant ramps would fit right in. Unfortunately that's the most "Saints Row" thing about the new Saints Row...
