I love the Saints Row series because its so ridiculously out of pocket. Starts out with gangs. Then turns into aliens and the devil🤣 it’s ridiculous, its fun. I love it
SR went from gang fighting to a weird fanfiction real fast
1 and 2 had a great plotline, 3 was great albeit weird at times
And then we had 4
4 was good. Personally I felt like that’s the most interaction you had with the crew with the calls and everything. I loved it would’ve been better if it wasn’t a saints row title though.

@@n4ut I believe it was initially meant to be a DLC to 3, but then became a main game. As fun as 4 was, I think it would've worked better as a DLC, like Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption

@@SuggestiveGaming worst take? yeah right, it the Truth, to say you like something with less content prior to the game series just like saying it best to make a game with crappy or less content, and in a way, volition did that, making small video games with small content, and throwing away most if not all of the game origin design with it, we all know how that works out.
and it is bad taste to like a game that is bad if not worst in content and Story compare to Saint row 1 and 3, for example, the lack of vehicles you can have and own without the need of mods or cheats is nerve-wracking and you just be godlike later on in the game, in a way making vehicles completely useless, and makes the game itself, Boring!
the only gold of SR4 is that it got superpower that only a comic book nerd wouldn't be too surprised about, and memes lot and lots of memes that will make no sense in the later times on in life.
First time I played Saints Row in 2009, I was like: I’m gonna play this forever.
10 years later and I still enjoy it.
For real I went back and bought a 360 just to do that
All the other games were boring asf after an hour. Couldn't really immerse into the game since it was so wacky, just got stail too fast

Honestly, the highlight for me was saving the day with Bonnie Tyler playing in the background, not the first time, not the second time, but, the third time. It was just like the perfect pop culture satire come full circle and I'm still holding on for a hero.
first time I beat SR3, racing to that statue to save Shaundi & Viola ( who happen to be my favorite characters btw ) with Holding Out For A Hero blasting was beyond epic...especially as I didn't notice the boat on my first playthrough and SWAM to the statue....

Saints Row 2 gameplay more like it. Play SR2 and SR3 back to back. The gameplay and world of SR3 was so uninspired. Total trash.
@@2584024 Well yea, when i say story i mean gameplay, and yes i do have over 2600 hours on saints row 2. Stilwater (With one L bitch(A quote from THQ)) was a living and breathing city.Some NPCs landing planes, skating, reading and so on. It honestly felt like i was in a real city.You know why i made the decision to buy saints row in the first place? Back then most of the games were either Sci-fi or FPS games, i mean yes i liked them but i wanted something different. Just it being the only gangster game that actually had appeal to me back then. I bought it without trying the demo because it was the only fucking gangster game that was out. And believe me it was worth it. Seeing what they done to Saints Row 3 just upset me and so i stuck around the old saints row fanbase and we were bitching about it (On forums, some even making videos, well that was generally flippy and us giving suggestions in the comments)..... It's 1AM in the night and i am bitching about THQ in a comment, fantastic! :D

The "I need a hero" mission of SR3 was goosebumps. so good
This series holds a special place in my heart, in each game through the years I made the same character and watched him progress from bum to president. I love this franchise
You know when you say the plot of the games outloud, the general plot of Saints Row 3 & 4 sound even more like a bad acid trip than it is when you play em.

Kinda...they basically needed to restart the saints row series because they got apparently sued by rockstars...hence why its gone in a full circle and back to saints row 1 but its completely different now

if i’m being honest, i was actually liking how johnny was able to choose 1 of 5 choices because who knows where the series would be now if he either would’ve started over or even restored the saints with a new plant.
I just hope I made the right choice. ;)
While the first two games are still my personal favorites, I respect and admire how Volition managed to endure with a ton of sequels, cancelled one-offs, and a spin-off game.

I think the canon ending for “Gat Outta Hell” is them becoming cops on new earth because in Agents of mayhem the pack that lets you play as Johnny has him as a lieutenant(cop) not saints member

I love the Saints Row series and enjoyed almost every step. SR4 felt kinda melancholy with earth being destroyed but I'm excited for the Stakes to be lowered in the reboot. Couldn't keep escalating after 4 so the new blood might do the franchise some good!
