I know this is maybe a far strech, but im currently looking for the Geometric Future Model 5. Its new but I think it has the possibitly for an AFIII 420 with push pull fans in the case. Are you guys going to do a review for this case too?
I'm actually a really big fan of this case. Will def consider it if I'm building full ATX in the future. Just wish in came in black and *not* yellow lol. As for CPU air cooling, the solution is to reverse the fan direction so the CPU cooler is blowing towards the PSU. In layouts like this it will usually result in better temperatures too because the CPU cooler gets to breathe fresh intake air instead of recycled GPU air
The Model 5 is soon to be released worldwide and it’s way better than this (older) case! Looks like it’s only available in China for the moment. Best believe I’m going to buy that case, even though I just bought the Phanteks NV5! Lol
When i first looked at it i thought it was Old Style, that is has a Top mounted PSU, which would solve Some issues, but god damn, to me it seems like the PSU placement is the biggest issue in this case Also whatsup with that Front IO placement? Right top Front? Why
Most of these concepts are .. nothing new. Whether its the PSU on top (SFX doing this for decades) or the "move things up" (SAMA01 Pro, Phanteks Enthoo Evolve Shift XT, to name a few current ones). The only thing "new" is seeing all of this combined in one, esp. an ATX case. And yeah, I share your concerns about the PSU: Thats one of the general issues with this type of layout. The Asus AP201 does, too, but solves this by having a full mesh front. Maybe somebody wants to create some aftermarket "PSU mounting" replacement that gives this one more use, like with rectangular holes so the PSU can actually breathe? 3d printing should do. Or you can go more lengths and do a very specific, tortuous DIY mod, by cutting those holes by hand (eg. pre-drilling and then sawing with a jewelry saw). cu, w0lf.
