Nice work. My system used the WF-2 (Wireless Interface 2) and had three zones using a different head (MSZ), so the CN105 connection was different, but your setup instructions with the Kumo Cloud app were spot on. Thanks for the video. Piece of cake to install. Shame on the manufacturer insisting on a "professional" to install. I do have one question about Kumo.....When programing an "event" I can easily find the start time section, but I don't see anything for stop time. Am I missing something?
Great video. Thank you. With this wireless remote installed and connected will the handheld remote still work? What is the link to the "part one" video about the maintenance?
I’m having an issue with mine blinking away at night when trying to sleep, lights are very bright in a dark room which is annoying. The installers of mine set it on top of the unit
I don't have access to turn off the breaker for my unit (apartment building), Would I safely be able to add the wifi adapter without hurting myself or the unit?
Thanks for this video. I watched your mini split cleaning video years back, which was great, and was happy to see this video as I had been recently wondering if Mitsubishi had a wifi adapter like other brands. Are you aware of where i can get the WF-1 adapter? I found the updated WF-2 adapter, but per the compatibility chart for the WF-2 adapter, my unit (MSZ-A series) is listed as not compatible. I’m assuming the WF-1 adapter is my only option here, right?
Thank you, this was incredibly helpful! Would you still recommend this system in 2022? I have 5 indoor units and one external Mitsubishi hyperheat heat pump. My HVAC installer gave me Flair pucks but am having several software issues with them. Looking for a different solution for being able to control/schedule my head units via phone/Internet.
James, it's getting close to your return to Villa Feliz, was wondering if you would mind doing an episode on home gardening, i.e. types of vegetables available, tomatoes, okra, zucchini, ect. Soil types, and certain seasons for planting and harvesting. Anything in this area would be great. Thank you in advance! Enjoy yourselves !
I think you are cool even even if you didn't have an AC. This was an awesome video. Thanks! I had four Mitsu head units installed a couple of months ago. I did not think to ask about wifi control. When the installer was done, I was left with 4 remote control units. Ugh.
Thanks! That's awesome! I love the AC units, but have been underwhelmed by the remotes. I ordered one of the Wifi units last night. I'll try it out on the head unit in my living room before committing to more.
Excuse me james if i ask you a question. The controlling cable between your generator and the ATS , how was the cable lenght extended ,as the supplied lenght is only approx 6 feet and like your set up my ats and gen are in diferent locations. Thanks I hope you have time to answer this.
Can you tell us if the interface unit can be mounted to a typical electrical device box? In other words, does it have a grooved holes on the back that would facilitate hanging the unit on the screws that sit at the top and bottom of a single gang device box?
Being an integration engineer, I'd say almost anything is possible if you don't mind cutting wires and adding extensions but as this unit is made at the factory to mount properly out of site not sure why you'd want to do that.
@@MyPIDream Why would I need to cut the cable? From the images it appears to have a connector on one end that would easily fit through a knockout, allowing you to thread it through the wall space then back to the AC unit.

Hi James, Looks like you will have complete control via your cell phone from at home and abroad. I don't know if you have mentioned this before or not but I was just wondering if you plan on keeping residence in the States. I have thought myself about what to do with my home in the USA after we build a home in the Philippines, I'm sure there are others who have to make the same decision. I have always thought it would be nice to keep a home here and split our time between the Philippines and US. The things I worry about are usually connected to security of the residences, and the expense involved with keeping up two separate homes. Hey, I really so enjoy your Vlogs, keep up the good work, look forward to see the finish of Villa Feliz.
