    Thanks - after waiting years for this device to be back in stock at Amazon, it arrived today and I got it installed. The casing took some playing with to take off, the bottom seemed to be stuck and required some prying even once the screws were out.

    Nice work. My system used the WF-2 (Wireless Interface 2) and had three zones using a different head (MSZ), so the CN105 connection was different, but your setup instructions with the Kumo Cloud app were spot on. You literally saved me $1,000+ by ordering and installing the wireless units myself vs the quote I received from our HVAC contractor. Thank you!

I watched your mini split cleaning video years back, which was great, and was happy to see this video as I had been recently wondering if Mitsubishi had a wifi adapter like other brands. Are you aware of where i can get the WF-1 adapter? I found the updated WF-2 adapter, but per the compatibility chart for the WF-2 adapter, my unit (MSZ-A series) is listed as not compatible. I’m assuming the WF-1 adapter is my only option here, right?

I notice that your head unit is the MSZ-GE12NA, the same as I have, but when I check the compatibility sheets for both adapters with model numbers PAC-USWHS002-WF-1 and PAC-USWHS002-WF-2, this head unit is listed as "not compatible." Can you shed any light on this?

    • @MyPIDream
      @MyPIDream  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Robert. First off, thanks for watching the episode. I always recommend contacting Mitsubishi support when you have questions concerting compatibility. I will tell you though some of the cross references for compatibility isn't up to date which may make your unit compatible with the remote. If your unit has the interface connector, then there's a good chance you can use the adapter.

    hi james,i live here in the US and I need a security camera in my home in the Philippines. Any suggestion? i need one that i can get a live feed on my phone and laptop and maybe a two way camera will be great too. so i can talk and hear whats going on.

    • @MyPIDream
      @MyPIDream  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There are plenty of options there in the Philippines or you can bring a couple of your own from here back there. What you select depends on your how much resolution you want, whether it is RG or IP based, need for a NVR and mostly your budget. I have Dahau cameras there which connect to a Network Video Recorder(NVR) which gives me playback or recorded video. If you don't want to spend the additional cost for an NVR, then you can get a camera that stores the recorded locally on a SD card in the camera or in the cloud. I'm in the process of testing a camera here in our US house that I'll do a review on. Standby for that. Since you asked maybe I'll discuss different technologies and options on that video. There's just too much to discuss in the comments section here. Great question!

    Can you tell us if the interface unit can be mounted to a typical electrical device box? In other words, does it have a grooved holes on the back that would facilitate hanging the unit on the screws that sit at the top and bottom of a single gang device box?

    • @MyPIDream
      @MyPIDream  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Being an integration engineer, I'd say almost anything is possible if you don't mind cutting wires and adding extensions but as this unit is made at the factory to mount properly out of site not sure why you'd want to do that.

I don't know if you have mentioned this before or not but I was just wondering if you plan on keeping residence in the States. I have thought myself about what to do with my home in the USA after we build a home in the Philippines, I'm sure there are others who have to make the same decision. I have always thought it would be nice to keep a home here and split our time between the Philippines and US. The things I worry about are usually connected to security of the residences, and the expense involved with keeping up two separate homes. Still in CONUS but not for long. 20 days and will be heading back home. Dogs and pups being cared for by our gardener. We'll get the Villa Feliz episodes back in full gear when I get home. 2 CR's and mortar work in the driveway still to go.
      Thanks for not forgetting us here!
