I have 4 Kumo Cloud WiFi Adapters and a neighbor wanted to control his Mitsubishi units. He was looking for a while...we had no idea an alternative option even existed. He was static when I showed him this video. Thanks.
I have airzone aidoo and what i like the most is that is easy to control mini splits. I bought it for my grandparent’s house and they are very happy because the interface is very intuitive and simple I recommend it 100%
Do you think you could share which remote features are available? Are you able to do things like control the vane positions for left and right, not just fan speed? Thanks! Can't find that info anywhere
Hello everyone. Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions regarding Mitsubishi Kumo Cloud or Airzone Aidoo WiFi Wireless Controllers. You can purchase a Airzone Aidoo Wifi Controller here (gotductless.com/products/airzone-aidoo-wifi-controller?_pos=2&_fid=7b487f655&_ss=c) or visit our site (gotductless.com/) for many other ductless products and accessories. Thanks!
I have a question regarding these products. I own and condo and I want the flexibility to adjust temperatures both remotely through the application as well as when someone is in the condo. Do both of these products allow you to use the existing remote that comes with the unit as well as adjust while away? Secondarily, can I place temperature limits on the unit so my children don't set the unit at the lowest temperature. So can I set a minimum temperature of 70 degrees and won't allow them to go below that 70 degrees?
Do you know if the Aidoo can also be used with Mitsubishi air handlers in ducted air handlers for heat pumps? The Kumo Cloud controller is listed as being compatible with these air handlers (M-series at least) on Mitsubishi's website.
@@gotductlessusa Is the Aidoo compatible with Mitsubishi MHK2 wall unit wifi thermostats? The Kumo Cloud lets you "daisy chain" the MHK2 wifi adapter on your mitsubishi air handler. But I'm not sure if this is possible with the Aidoo.
I can’t change the temperature unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit on the Aidoo app! It is gray in the settings and not blue like the other settings that can be changed
Hello! Please go to the top right settings and click on My Account. In User Settings, please change your temperature unit from C to F. This will help you see temperature in F moving forward.
Additionally, outdoor temperature will show once you type in the address of where the unit is installed. Feel free to call us if you have any questions. 866-399-0206
We have found that sensibo has similar connectivity issues that kumo cloud has. It's not a bad product but we prefer Airzone Aidoo has a more reliable substitute.
The pins are the Mitsubishi contractors 10 digit phone numbers. You can either use your contractor's pin or use the phone number of a local Mitsubishi contractor
You can have both aidoo and kumo clouds connected to various units but they won't be able to be controlled all from the same mobile application. You would have to use the kumo app to control devices connected to the kumo interfaces and same for Aidoo. Hope this helps!
It is an option! We prefer Airzone because it is larger controls based corporation. If there are issues with the unit then we know there's support. But of course to each his own!
It definitely has its issues. Mitsubishi apparently is coming out with a brand new wifi module when their new refrigerant systems come out in 2025. We'll see!

Where can I find the Z-Wave Plus US version of this so that I don’t have to rely on WiFi?
Did you ever figure this out? I was curious about the same thing.
Exactly what I was looking for!!! Thank You!
Glad we could be helpful to you!
Is there a monthly cost for either?
Is there a monthly cost for app and cloud features ?????
No there is no monthly fee for either apps.
Can I use factory remote controller to operate unit when Kumo is connected? Thanks
Yes! You can use both the remote controller and the kumo cloud.
Aidoo allows Control4 operation as well.

Do I need I controller per cassette/wall unit?
Yes, each indoor unit requires its own controller.
Great video btw. The presenter knows his products well.
We take pride in knowing mini splits and their accessories really well. Thanks for the feedback!

Is there an iption that supports home asstant? Dont want a gazillion apps
Aidoo works with Google Home, Apple Homekit, and Amazon Alexa. I'm not sure about Home Assistant.
Can I add this Airzone Aidoo to my existing Kumo cloud ❓❓❓

The Cielo Breez Eco smart A/C controller is easier and cheaper.

It doesn't take a lot to "stack up". Kumo is terrible
