This is the first time I've not wanted to be out with you! If you're bored over the winter I'm sure a lot of us would appreciate a few techniques videos, training for holding your breath, conserving energy on the dive, deep diving etc. Thanks as ever for the really enjoyable content
Stonking footage! Running before those serious waves with their breaking crests🌊 in such a small vessel takes courage Joe! Great ecological ethics as always too👌
Another great video Joe - fantastic camera work and editing as usual! It was definitely a bit lumpy out there. Brought back many memories of boat fishing with my mate in a 16' Plymouth Pilot out of Bantham. A few times we had gone a couple of miles out to find the fish, and if it blew up rough, it was a slow haul back to the safety of the river! Thanks - stay safe & well.
Great video as always Joe, Watching them waves I am happy my boat is all wrapped up on dry land for winter. Can't say I like ribs much, fishing hooks and UV Ray's on the tubes, let alone the premium price but in rough seas they are the way to go Love watching the boat prep and retrieval All the very best
Another smashing video from Captain Joe Pk! I really enjoy watching spearos from other parts of the world and it's really cool to see how productive the UK can be if you know how to dive it. Keep it up mate!
I enjoyed this upload Joe Fair Play for braving the swell, but with lockdown looming I certainly don't blame you guys for going out! 34m!! Hopefully one day my skills will improve enough for me to be able to fish at that depth too. Dive safe guys! ;-)
Yes pike!! Smashing it mate as usual! Deep diving too you are really progressing its great to see bro 🤜🤛 Big love to this epic channel ill see you in a few weeks
Another amazing video mate. You’ve inspired me to pull the trigger (😝) on a suit, gun and all the other gear. Going to be all over the country in my camper van with mini rib in the back next year, buzzing 🤙
Summer waves 😁🏄🏽♀️ glad u went fishing for us. How did u just decide to get the boat out an hour away from putting in I’m presuming buddy as dedicated dry land driver 👍👍👍 good to see you again
Great video Joe but one question you launched in Penzance came into sennen who did the car and trailer get to sennen. Hope through the winter you can do some foraging videos like you did in the first lockdown. Stay safe.👍🌊
You are all crazy when i saw them waves chasing you i tot you going under with your boat.. xstream diving you can call it 😊 and the difference is huge summer and autumn. Quick question on yr gun do you put line around the tip of spear or no on cherokee fast cos it has a magnet to hold spear not sure if i need it around the spear and what was the watter temp..? 7mm suit was inuf?
@@thefrenchman8849 ye better be safe and put it on cos in the end you will miss a fish of yr life with small mistakes like that. 😊 anyway best of luck mate looking forword for more vids this year .. try to catch a tuna or is it ileagal in our watters? 😀 Health and wealth to you mate and to yr family. Be safe in and outside of watter 👍
Love the content Joe, even rewatching your older videos! Quick question, what length Cressi Cherokee Fast are you using? and are you still getting on with it? I am thinking of upgrading soon
Are you using any variable weight systems for dives that deep? Would absolutely love to shoot a Cod, however all the marks I know they've been caught (by rod anglers) are deeper than I'm comfortable diving to. Really enjoyed the video, looked pretty intense in that swell!
Hi Jack. Actually use no variable weight - it’s not something I wish to dabble in to be honest. Absolutely most of the cod are coming from 50-60M I would say - a bit far to go for a cod 😂
Haha! It is something on the cards very soon! The reason I held back is that I decided I needed to use the boat for a year to really get to know it and give helpful feedback 👌
Thanks for letting me know you enjoy the vids! Great to hear you like the weekly uploads too 👌 the wind was 40-50mph so quite windy and that is enough force to kick up choppy seas!

Thanks mate for the inspiration for video ideas!! 👌
@@JoePkSpearfishing brilliant, I'm very much looking forward to them!
First 3 minutes had me on the edge of my seat! Superb shooting, some spectacular footage from 30+ metres!
Thank you matey you would have been down there sniping John Dory!
Hi all. Enjoy your fishing at the weekend. Thanks for sharing this clip. I have watched it from home!!!
Stonking footage! Running before those serious waves with their breaking crests🌊 in such a small vessel takes courage Joe! Great ecological ethics as always too👌
For sure!! Thanks!
I guess the south coast is pretty much tropical for a brit, but diving 34's in such cold water is very commendable. Top of your game bud 🙂
Sweet boat - the Ribcraft made small work of that swell. That summer dive was an aquarium 🧘🏻♂️🧜🏻♂️
Yes I'm impressed every day out of the seaworthyness.
Danger sea, extreme sport!! Super good!! 💪💪
Thanks again Carlos!
Fantastic footage joe......some of the best out there when it comes to British waters.....happy new year buddy

All good points about ribs! Something I wish to discuss in a future video 👌

Thanks Karl yes we had to get out but I rarely dive 30+ meters just the Frenchman told me the cod were there but the buggers were nowhere to be seen 😂
As amazing as good viz is , so satisfying coming out with fish in tough conditions 👌🏻
So agree! Makes it all the more worthwhile 👌
Great video again. I really enjoyed it because my friend and boat co-owner told me yesterday he is moving to Sennen. I really can't wait for 2021 !
That’s awesome! Some
Proper boating to be had 👌
Yes pike!! Smashing it mate as usual!
Deep diving too you are really progressing its great to see bro 🤜🤛
Big love to this epic channel ill see you in a few weeks
Hahaha! We had superb conditions that day good light and warm water made the dining so pleasant👌 catch you very soon 👌
Very brave going out in those sea conditions

Awesome! You wont regret it 👌
Great vid joe! How is anyone giving this a thumbs down 🤷🏻♂️

We know a local at sennen so we could grab the car and trailer! It’s about 20mins by road I thought 👌
Great video Joe but one question you launched in Penzance came into sennen who did the car and trailer get to sennen. Hope through the winter you can do some foraging videos like you did in the first lockdown. Stay safe.👍🌊
We knew a local at sennen who was able to give us a lift to Penzance 😊
Great video joe
Many thanks Thomas 👌
Just watching this I feel sick just looking at the sea 🌊 lol

Best to keek the line around your spear. In big Swell the magnet might not hold.

Btw Joe they are called coalfish you can tell by the silver/ golden line and also pollack don't have a really dark top part of body 🙂👍
Tasty fish whatever. Thanks 👌
condiciones duras, corriente frio y aguas turbias "mucha afición"

Manyakmısınız?
Böyle havalarda dalışa gitmek gerçekten cesaret işi. 👍
Love your vids Joe, but you shouldnt have put to sea in them conditions for a pleasure outing. Glad you decided to cut the trip short.
Perhaps not in hindsight. But it’s all a learning experience 👌

Magníficos videos, la zona de pesca es en UK??
Awesome video dude 😁👍
Thanks!
Good bottom time at 34m that. Fair play. Stay safe.
Not our regular dive but the conditions allowed!
Muito bom trabalho sempre, um abraço aqui do Brasil 🇧🇷 e vamos ao vídeo 🐟🧜🏼♂️🎥👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
34mtrs😲I'd be lucky to swim up from that depth, let alone down and bottom time👏
What kind of boat do you have Joe? It looks unsinkable.
Yeah Joe!!! You told us last spring you were going to do a boat episode. Well??? :)
Haha! It is something on the cards very soon! The reason I held back is that I decided I needed to use the boat for a year to really get to know it and give helpful feedback 👌
What's with the waves Joe? Is it that windy? I had to go home first to savour every second of the video. Well done as always.

🤙🏻
👍
Hard to swim with those big balls weighing you down.
Sick🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🔥🔥🔥
get on boi
I really do not like the sea. Imagine getting swept by a whale one day, what would you do?
I hope it would spit me out!
Meant how not who lol.👍
