    Not gonna lie, I always give your videos a thumbs up as soon as I turn it on. Because the like shouldn’t be because of the story content. You don’t write them. You narrate them. And the hard work you put into your presentation is never lacking. I know what to expect. And I know how much I enjoy your voice and the way you tell a story. I wish people wouldn’t give narrators such a hard time. You do a great job and you work hard at it. I’d give you 999 thumbs up if TH-cam would let me!!! 🥰

    I luv that... "I don't trust a person that doesn't like a dog, but I trust a Dog who doesn't trust a person."

    • @andreweden9405
      @andreweden9405 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      As a person who is not evil, a cat lover, AND gets growled at by most people's dogs, I don't really buy into the whole "dogs are a good judge of character" thing. In fact, if we let dogs be the arbiters of who we trust based on who they growl at, I think we'd be in a lot of trouble as a society!🤣 Many psychopaths and sociopaths are able to instantly get along with aggressive dogs because they literally don't have the ability to process fear like a normal person, so the dogs aren't able to pick up on their intentions at all. When it comes to the guy in this story, it sounds like it would take neither a genius, nor a dog, to discern that he was someone you didn't want to have around! Nevertheless, I'm glad that their dog took action!

    Oh man that sasquatch story man. Made my eyes tear up, I've had my own encounter. Probably too short for a read, but I was sitting in the passenger seat of my parent's car. We were heading home, we lived in the woods in Oregon. I was just watching the trees when we passed around a bend in the road. I wasn't thinking I was just staring at the trees. As the light from the car headlights hit the trees I saw these two yellow eyes reflect in the light. They came out from behind the tree and then moved back behind it. It had to be 10-20 feet off the ground. But they were so slow and deliberate. I there wasn't anything else that could ideally reflect back and explain it. And these are tall pine trees, so it's just a long tree. So no branches below, just more trees beside this one. We have cougars but normally they would hide up in the branches. And I don't think they would peek like that. This was deliberate. Like whatever it was, was waiting for us and looked specifically at me. Scary stuff. No idea if it was a sasquatch or something else but it's one of those things that has stuck with me. Had a lotta other weird things happen while living at my old place. Lots of creepy stuff happened when I lived in the woods. >.< Oh and I totally freaked out and asked my dad if he saw it, and he didn't. So it's just my word.

    For the guy with the bright light story, there used to be a satellite that would reflect light back then. I think the name had to do with God or something and had a traceable site, but basically at a specific coordinate and time you could have they bright light reflected at you from the sun at night and it looked like it was daylight for a small area and short time before going back to darkness. First story, you said you found a camp that was already there put together by someone right... you and your friends decide to use the camp. Maybe the light you all saw was the people who had left the camp up, coming back to use it?

    I don't hate dogs, but I don't particularly like them either. For sure, I would never tolerate someone mistreating a dog, or any innocent animal for that matter! I'm actually more of a cat person. I grew up in a dog-loving family, and I think that might've made me like cats even more, and led me to feel that they're misunderstood. In fact, I've got one named Smoky laying on me right now, listening to these stories as well!😁
    Btw, you may not know it, but Poplar Bluff, Missoura is actually well-known for encounters with, and sightings of cryptids. There was a flap of Chupacabra sightings there several years ago. It was major enough that it was even featured on the radio show Coast-to-Coast AM, which is now FM, but I digress...😁

      Not because he didn't try to get everything else from me. (I never get in with my earbuds in anyway, it's rude since many drivers pick you up for conversation. Long distance driving sucks alone.) About 5 minutes in the car, he puts a gun on his lap, facing me, and tells me to empty my wallet. Cash, cards, etc. "I'm hitchhiking. How much money do you think I have??" He repeats it. So I did. He got $8 and 3 mangled/expired cards. He tells me to put my empty wallet back in my pocket (his mistake) and said he was gonna get off on the next ramp, and that I was going to get out and leave my pack in the car. I couldn't have that. So when I moved to put my wallet in my back pocket, I slipped the safety off the bear mace on my right hip (I assume he never noticed it getting in the car) and as I shifted back to sit, I pulled it, and fired, about 3 inches from his open, right eye. Mind you, we're on an 6 lane interstate. He screams, slammed the brakes, I hear what I thought was the sound of his gun hitting the floor in front of him, and we slid to a stop in the gravel beside the interstate. I'm affected to, but I can't pause for the pain. I kick open the door, punched the guy in the face as hard as I could,,and jumped out. I was practically blinded by the mace too, but I knew it was coming, so I was ready. Reported it to a State Patrol officer, about 2 miles from where I got out. I learned a few days later, they got him when he sought treatment for his mace burns. Turns out his vehicle matched the description of other reports of this happening to others. I wasn't the 1st, but I was the last.
      Luckily, he didn't get the important stuff. My ID was in my pocket, I had been stopped by SP just before this happened, ran my info to be sure I didn't have warrants, etc. I had also just used my food stamp card, also in my pocket. I lucked out big time, but I couldn't lose all my gear/stuff.
      P.S. bear mace hurts so much, for DAAAAAYS

    I’ll say, I love animals, the only reason I wouldn’t have one is because I can’t stand the thought of picking up poop or of an animal having an accident in my house as I am a huge clean freak, subsequently I would never be found camping in the woods or in the woods alone ever considering I am a young female. I live in the pacific north west, and I rarely venture anywhere alone. I’m fairly skinny and tall so I could probably stand to stock up my car with weapons, and sometimes I do wish I had an animal friend to guard me from the unknown…but I try to be smart and keep out of a prying situation

    This is why I always carry a 44 Magnum with 50 bullets and sometimes a rifle. Even when I'm going hiking for a couple days or it's a hiking for a day and it's in the middle of nowhere and there's a lot of bears around and there's crazy people out there. But mainly animals because they can smell your food and they can smell your piss and they can smell everything very bear mace doesn't really f****** it does work but I like to carry a gun especially a big high-powered pistol a 44 magnum one bullet will not kill a bear but unloading six bullets into his face region and one in his heart but you want to shoot his face shooting his eyes so he can't see in one bullet in his and these 44 Magnums are f****** powerful. I was thinking about bringing 357 but that would take more shots to kill a bear it's still powerful but it'll take more shots

    Why would a bigfoot come right up to the tent and scream over and over and not do anything to the person? That makes no sense at all. Also why would the person supposedly go back to the same location alone but not record anything? Sounds like complete BS to me

      With everything I've read on the topic of bigfoot since then, my best guess is it was probably trying to scare me off because I was too close to their territory? There are countless bigfoot stories/reports where the persons had one get close and do nothing but scream and howl. It's not uncommon. But who knows why they do it for real.
      This was September 2012. I was hitchhiking. I'd just used the last shot in my disposable camera, while visiting friends in Mountain View, which is about 30+ miles west of this location. I didn't own a phone till 2015. He'll, I didn't even own a land line till 2014. And everything I did on that trip, was alone. My closest friend was in Mountain View. However, the next day after the 2nd time, I begged my friend to come and get me at the next town. I didn't wanna risk getting stuck in the middle of nowhere at night again.
