A few months ago I put this on for some background noise and it had the unexpected effect of calming my very anxious 14-year-old dog. It was the only thing that would settle him when he was feeling anxious and restless. I turned it on for him every night and periods of the day too. We unexpectedly lost our sweet boy today and I just wanted to say thank you for providing him with some comfort in what turned out to be the last few months of his life. It even helped him today when he was trying to brave the pain. I just turned this video on for the first time without him and I’m now sobbing for what feels like the hundredth time today but it didn’t feel right not to play it for him on his last day on this earth. I don’t know if I’ll be able to revisit this video for a while but if and when I’m able to, I’ll always think of him how he was when he was listening to it: peaceful and sleeping, beautifully content. Wherever he is, I’m sure Marley is resting with this as his background music. So thank you. 💖

This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. It gave me a safety feeling of being inside my family’s home, with my parents and siblings, while I fell asleep with the sound of a torrential rain falling on the zinc roof. I love rain and thunder.
