Hi Swamp Dweller. I live in NC. Siler City is no where near the mountains. It is located in the central part of NC in Chatham county. The Devil’s Tramping Ground does exist, but it is getting smaller every year. I live 35 minutes from Siler City and 421 use to go right through town before the bypass was built. Now one has to take Hwy 64 or old 421 to drive through. It is rolling farmland.
I live in Greensboro and was like when did Siler City become the mountains? Lol I've heard of this place before but forgot about it thru the years. Might have to make a trip down there soon.
Listening to your podcast always makes me feel good....always awesome stories...😇
