When I heard that song in the National Championship, gave me goosebumps last night. Hail to the victors. As a BSU fan, was impressed with the d line, and run game.
make the trip from Canada once a year to watch a game. nothing like game day in Ann Arbor on a cool fall day. Amazing experience, great town and wonderful people.
Just discovered these college band videos! Never saw a game live in my 2 years at UM, but knew about and appreciated the band. --- so hey! why the dinky presentation?
LOVE THIS but seriously, whats with the director standing on the step ladder directing them when the entire bands back is to him? Whats the flipping point lol
I was at Notre Dame a couple years ago to watch my daughter perform in the Michigan Marching Band. A grumpy old ND fan saw me wearing M Band hat and loudly proclaimed on our crowded bus that was headed for the game-“The only reason Michigan has a great fight song is that it was written by a Notre Dame student”. Within seconds a Notre Dame student that was on the bus googled it on his phone and corrected him and said it was actually written by a Michigan student on his way home to Ann Arbor after Michigan beat Notre Dame many years ago. John Philip Sousa was correct-Michigan’s fight song is the greatest ever written but I would put Notre Dame at #2.
There was NO team EVER more deserving of Bob Ufer, his horn and Bo "Gen. Patton" Schembechler. GO BLUE !!

Hi there, do you have a link to Bob Ufer's speech without the background music?
Nope. It was actually played during that speech, I believe.
