    Right up there with the Supra in the iconic sports car segment. Great view and so nice to see one of these legends on the road once again!

    I miss my 93 Stealth.
    "Barely a 90's car." But, it ran 91-99. How much more of a 90's car can you get?

      @265308 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Actually it was 1990-2001(though the 2000 and 2001 were only sold in Japan n were basically left overs from 1999).

      @Kevin (V Kash) Yea my 93 VR-4 had insane electrical issues. Tracking them down was freaking hard and working on it... I hope you got a lift because you're dropping the motor and trans out to work on 1/2 the car.

    There isn't 2 cigarette lighters. The one next to the active aero switch is a power outlet placed perfectly for a radar detector.

    I had that very same car, it really was a head of it's time. I used to freak people out behind me when the spoiler would pivot.

    My absolute favorite cars are ones like these, barely 90's but also not quite out of the 80's... that transitional period around 1990. The Mitsubishi 3000GT, the Nissan 300ZX, BMW 850i, Honda/Acura NSX... and a few others.. these were my dream cars growing up in the early 90's, and I was lucky to see them when they were all new and fresh...it was wild man :)

    the touring and sport settings are for the active exhaust, touring being quieter exhaust notes, and sport being the exact opposite. The car isnt a true dual exhaust car, but has the capability of passing exhaust on the left side for direct path, thus louder exhaust, and right side, longer path, thus quieter tour mode. it has nothing to do with suspension. That would be the ECS (electronic controlled suspension) button. I have a 93 vr4 and this car is my girlfriend.

    I have one mint none modified all original with 22k miles on it and everything works. Not to show off but it is a fun little car with an insane amount of tech in it.

      People hear that it weighs 3800 pounds, and then dismiss it. You can feel the weight when driving them (of course), but yet they're still very nimble. I love my 93 VR4!!

    Does the active aero still function on this car? I've heard they're prone to failure

    • @baileyferguson1999

    • @Soviet_Kitty

      traingeek2000 the rear limit switches are prone to fail, and those control the active aero. If the micro switch fails, the system won’t be in sync with the aero, and thus won’t move. Thankfully, they’re like $5 apiece and take a little less than an hour to fix, which is good.

      Hi Jayden, I currently own a hyundai coupe 2.0 141bhp. that was my first car. I love classic cars and the way they look and for me the GTO/3000GT is the ultimate machine. you don't get those big beefy coupes anymore and they really draw a lot of attention, the gto in particular is beautiful. you can get some of them at around 3-4 k for a 60-70k mileage example. do you have any tips on what to look for when buying as i'm hoping to purchase one within the next 12 months.

    • @THEBOSS7223

      @@cameronbrown3380 I'm only be 19 but my first car was a Mitsubishi Galant vr4 which is has practically the same motor is the GTO and AWD. the GTO I bought was from the first owner I have all the service history from 1994 these are complex and things go wrong it's very expensive to fix unless you do it yourself but if you can get as much history on the and get it inspected before you buy the kilometres on vehicles doesn't matter as long as it's been well looked after
