MARSOC will likely never allow a documentary as a key to the assessment philosophy being that it was modeled after the CAG/Delta assessment & selection process, with secrecy being paramount as to make it very much a mystery to candidates. I believe it will stay that way too. The "unknown" makes it that much harder.
“You shouldn’t make a decision when you’re going up hill” that’s some real shit, I’ve always thought these guys were different and I wish I would have tried a&s while I was in, not sure I would’ve made it but I’d wanna see what I was made of
Man this was just starting to roll out when i got out, it was in its infancy and more of a rumor, very early days of selection, they weren't even letting Pogs go, at that time i was told only 03's could go. I couldn't lateral move into 03 or any other MOS when it was time for me to re-up, but i really wanted that kind of job, and really wantrd out of the job I endured for 4 years...they wouldn't let me, was told "needs of Marine corps" and had to stay in the job hated or get out, so i got out. If I'd of stayed in I for sure would have put in for this selection. Those of you who want that kind of job, don't settle for less...if i had just reeuped and done a couple more years and waited for this selection process to get more matured and known, I'd of at least tried. Now I hear you can be any MOS and put in a packet for selection, so thats a good thing and glad they made it like that.
My biggest regret is not finishing through to find out if I even would have been selected. I almost finished it, too. The Army has given me a second chance at least
joshua richards Green Berets and MARSOC are both on the same level, they also do the same missions, indigenous foreign military training, Delta is primarily a strike force/direct action assault so it’s not comparable to the mission statements of the former.

How long does Phase II typically takes?
3 weeks
A&S has 2 phases. Both of them take 3 weeks and ITC takes 9 months. Then there's MOS school which can be around 10 weeks-20 weeks)
