Thanks! got me is best DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro bcuz im not using 5.7k or 8k and im not using 360 so for me is best DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro and now i have it for 4 weeks and it´s best camera i´ve ever get! Thanks for best and only one review!
Thanks for a great comparison. I bought new helmet and unfortunately it has air vent control button right on the middle of it, so I will have to mount my cam a bit forwards. I'm too scared to speed without pole planting, so a stick is out of question. So which is the best one to wear on a helmet alone? Also, how about the battery lives, since factory data is - never - what we get on the slopes. I previously switched to Sony action cam after GoPro, the image quality was - far - superior, especially loved the optical image stabilization, however the batteries were dying really really quick so I had enough of it. Which one offers the best battery life in cold?
Hi - I didn't make a specific test of the battery life in the cold - on a helmet the GO 3S would be a good choice, because small and light - or the Action 5 for better overall image quality (and most likely the better battery life)
@@MountMediaChannel Thanks for your reply. I was thinking of buying the Action 5, however I've seen in your video (and in other snow videos shot by it as well) that the background detailing is very poor. Action 5 tends to smooth out the fractures on snow and rocks. It's very obvious in some scenes, you can't see the ski tracks beyond, or details in rock formations or snow conditions in the facing mountain (obvious difference where you're skiing towards a big white covered mountain along with a snowboarder). And I'll mostly shoot in 2K, so even lesser detail should be there. That's got me thinking, do you think it is an issue that can be solved with updates or something else?
@@MountMediaChannel I'm going to Val Gardena, and definitely don't want Saslong to look like one smoothened out giant piece of snowy rock on my videos.😂 Or, when skiing off piste - crud, I'd like to see the snow condition in detail. As I said, I'm too scared to ski without poles so my main aim is to shoot the beautiful scenery and family members skiing along with my jumps etc. Insta360 is very expensive in my country and guarantee issues seem problematic, so I guess I'l have to buy a Gopro and a few batteries to compensate in the cold.
@@eurovisionist Hi - I don't think that can be solved via update. I suppose it has to do with the calibration of the lens - those cameras have relatively big sensor and the focus has to be fixed.
Hi thanks for your excellent reviews, I still think ace pro 2 and action 5 are better overall cameras compared to Go Pro 13 the snow looks more natural, I owned a few Go pro's when it comes to cold temps they perform terrible with constant shutdowns.
Yes, true - they claim this issue has been solved with the new battery. Personally I didn't have issues in the cold with any of these cameras. But I usually put the cameras in the jacket pocket when I'm on the ski lift.
@mannydodge8534 gopro looks way nicer... acepro kept steaming up the lens with condensation, fucking worthless.. Gopro 13 has new 1:1 and slow mo... no idea wat ur on about... Gopro 14 will knock competition away if they have night mode on wide lens and gp3 chip

Great review.
Where did you record the footage and when?
Looks like great skiing conditions!
Hi - last week - Val Senales, Italy
@@MountMediaChannel Thanks. Looks like a great area for skiing.
Thanks for the review, did you test the battery life in these situations ?
Not in these situations - but there are battery life tests in my other reviews
@ I was interested in the cold since it seems my GoPro 12 is losing a lot of battery life in cold weather 😉

i heard DJI doing their version of a 360 camera too???
That's at least what the rumours say - but I have no information about that (as I said - I'm on their blacklist 😅)
Hello .. which better between x4 & ace pro 2 .. ??
Please make a content about compare this 2 cameras ..
quite a pointless comparisson, each camera is mean for different purposes
Which stick did you use for X4 while skiing?
The Insta360 Action Invisible Selfie Stick
Gopro 13 the best!
I had the acepro 2, didnt like it, returned
What did you not like about Acepro 2 ? I threw my GoPro in garbage because of unreliability. Thinking of DJI or Insta

@MountMediaChannel thank you!
Please any update of gopro max 2

No information about that 🤷🏻♂️
@@MountMediaChannel I’ve got a question. The X4, is it possible to attach on the chest with a mount?
