      Speaking of games. Right now I'm enjoying Wildlands. My primary weapon is the AK-12. A really good alrounder. High firing rate, fits a 50 magazine, a grande launcher and gets really powerful once you upgrade it to level 30. Lately I switched it for the G2. Also fits a 50 mag, a grande launcher, scopes and suppressors. Buy far not as powerful fully upgraded. But has a noticeable higher firing rate. Love it.

    The assumption that the new Toyotas will be more reliable is just that. Apparently there are reliability issues w the turbo hybrid fours, and TFL’s Tacoma’s front differential failed when doing mild rock crawling that it’s competitors had no problem handling. Toyota claimed it failed as designed to prevent more serious damage. So basically when the going gets tough when you really need to be able to rely on your truck, it breaks on you ‘as designed’…

      There are performance conversion companies all over the US. Have you ever heard of Hennessey Performance? Probably not. Well, they are well known in the US and convert the standard V6 twin turbo engine in the Ranger Raptor to make 500 HP. The standard Coyote V8 makes 460 HP. Horseshoeing a Coyote V8 into a Ranger Raptor isn't all that difficult. It becomes a question of why? A Ford Permance tune will get 455 HP out of the standard V-6 for $825. I think that is enough. This is an off road vehicle, not a race car.

    • @ROC805

      @JimBering are you serious?...Hennessey is available in Australia... and we have tune shops here and South Africa that get well over 600 hp out of the new Ranger Raptor.... and there is Herrod here in Australia that has a upgrade for it that gives it 509 hp and 575 ft lbs .. with a full 5 year warranty all covered by ford including hardware.

    • @JimBering
      @JimBering 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ROC805 The Ford Performance tune is not available in Australia. This is the only one I would get since it is by Ford and doesn't void the warranty. Plus it is cheap as these things go. The American Ranger Raptor starts out with more HP and torque than the Austrailian version so it's already fast enough for most people. Well over 600 hp? What company is that? Hennessey, Texas company charges $24,950 for its tune which is more than a chip change and it gets 500 hp. That is ridiculously expensive to get 45 hp over the Ford Performance tune. With enough money, you can make a car into a spaceship.
      I suspect in a few years Ford will come out with a Ranger Raptor R like they did with the F-150.

    So rest of the world here, specifically New Zealand, We are only now starting to get some of the bigger trucks and yup get them for the guys with the massive boats who don't believe in leaving them in the water, I don't know what the hell thomas has in his race car, but I've towed with the Ranger, Nissan Navara, Mazda BT50 and GWM Canon both a BMW e36 endurance car and my AWD swapped focus rally car, with all the spares, including a extra engine double axle trailer and never had any issues, "Mid" size trucks now days are def the way to go.

    I love it when smaller cars get the top treatment like when the Cayman got the GT car treatment, or the 1 Series got the M treatment
    This is just that, the Ranger getting the Raptor treatment Although, this car has an air of Caymanism, like it not having amber headlights because if you want that you have to get the F-150 or the Bronco, and the F-150's trombone loop for better sound? I remember I heard that wouldn't fit in the Ranger but it still sounds like an excuse Porsche would give for like the GT4 RS not getting a manual because it doesn't fit while it not being incredibly convenient by not cannibalizing 911 GT3 sales
    But yeah, I love this! ❤️

    These new-gen Rangers really are huge compared to their older counterparts, I drive an '04 FX-4 - it came with an off-road lifted suspension from the factory, and my Ranger is still absolutely dwarfed by the new Rangers.
    In a way I'm envious of the cabin space, because I'm 6'2" and I get annoyed by my head touching the liner all the time, and my legs being too long to really be able to relax them in the cab, but the new models are just too much truck for city conditions.

    I know that America had a Ranger from back in the day. Dont be fooled tho, these new (to the US) Rangers are actually a fully in house designed and built by Ford Australia. In 2011 the Ranger was redesigned into the current shape and form, building off its previous Ranger model here in Aus, the PK model. It use to be called a Courier and also was rebadged by Mazda Australia as a Bravo, because Mazda has never made there own version of any ute. The Ranger in australia comes with a 3.2litre diesel and a 2.2litre diesel. This V6 borrowed from Ford America is the first petrol engine the ranger has seen in nearly 15years.

  • @joebig8885
    @joebig8885 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I mean, most people don’t use a truck for a truck anymore. That’s why a 5 1/2 foot bed is standard because nobody can drive anything bigger when it has four-doors and a 6 1/2 foot bed that tends to be too cumbersome for most people. That’s why you still only have a 5 1/2 foot bed on a full-size truck. Which is absolutely ridiculous. At least this is a 5 foot bed on a midsize truck. That makes more sense. Love the video though.

However, in Finland atleast, there seems to be scene where people have fullsize trucks imported over and often enough I have mistaken this new ranger as a full big truck. Maddeningly, raptor ones in here only produce 300ish hp because of emissions. Only a tune away from original numbers but still.
