Glad you had a good first week!
We started a 5 day school week for this first term. I figured as we are in the throws of teaching our kindergartener to read we should expose her to it as many days as possible until she gets a handle on it.
You’re absolutely right you can finish school in a 3 day school week! Our second and third term will likely be 3 days.
    Happy homeschooling!

Glad to hear your fist week went well!
For your Homeschool Planet video, I would like to know how to add Moving Beyond the Page to it.
I wanted to do the free trial but couldn't find the publisher of the curriculum on the list.🤷‍♀️
It'll be our first year with Moving Beyond the Page (thanks to you 😊) and honesty I need all the help I can get right now.😅
    Thanks again for your videos!

We have used the Getty Dubay program which teaches italic to italic cursive. Level B or C is good for 1st grade.

So happy your first week went so great! 🎉 You go momma! All that prep and planning really does pay off! 😅
You have me so excited to start our new school year. 🤓 we’re going back to MBTP. Ages 11-13, 7-9, and 4-5. 🤩 We start in 1 month!

Kumon has some cut and paste books that are straightforward. Not as fun as crafting but maybe good for busy days.

We got a dry erase handwriting book so my daughter could practice over and over all the letters.

Do you have any experience with moving beyond the page 4-5? My boys are 4 and 5 1/2. It would be nice to combine them with content and then go at their own pace with skill subjects.

I’ve not used it but only seen it and wished I would of used it last year. I feel like at this point my son is a bit past that level.

@@gatheredandgrounded thank you! My younger guy would be perfect but my 5 1/2 year old for sure is above the level.
