Bro you play the knife just like I do…I do not think many people understand how good the punch special action is with the knife especially mixing it in with your attacks. Always enjoy watching your gameplay it reminds me of my play style. Great vid.
Thanks! Yeah it doesn't seem like it's common knowledge that the light attack that comes after the special hits as hard as a heavy. Then again, the game hardly explains anything ever.
I think it is because people like to mash M1 against hordes, and special comes slower after Light Attack so it seems weaker, but it can be easily combined with Heavy into Special, or Push attack into special.
It also has a bad rep. Possibly the most hated weapon on Reddit, and people there legitimately think it's one of the worst weapons in the game. So basically, misinformation all around.

Aw my condolences.. I knew someone with Arthritis and had to call an ambulance for them before, I know it can be pretty bad. May be you can try weapons with slower rate of fire that are still very competent, like Eviscerators and Heavy Swords.
Hi Dray - I love your builds and have had a lot of success with them in Auric missions. What's your preference for weapon special action keybind? I'm struggling to find something that works for me when it comes to combat knives.
That might just be the servers dunking on you. There are times when I've already taken damage before there's even a laser, and the sound cue comes after I've already taken damage. Getting netted/1 shotted mid-dodge.. and the list goes on. The game practically becomes unplayable at that point. More than any new weapon, what I want from FS is good servers. Unfortunately, don't think that's happening..
Love the build this looks super fun to play though have you been having issues with inexorable judgement? Cos I often get no buff from the stacks they just hit 0 after I hit something and I've never figured out why it happens xD hope it gets fixed cos inexorable was my favourite keystone till it bugged out on me xD
Thanks! Currently the UI is bugged and won't show all active buffs, so you should be getting the benefits even if you don't see it show up in the UI. It's the most noticeable on buffs that last a long time like Disrupt Destiny. Only thing we can do for now is hope the issue gets fixed, like the silent Specials that have returned. =(

No video but copy and pasting one of my old replies to a similar question: There's not 1 combo that you spam over and over as what attacks you use depends on the situation, and it's what makes the knife so fun to me. - H1 for gap closing - H1 & H2 for cleaving hordes in a hit & run style - Push attack > H2 if you need to stagger something - If you have sufficient attack speed, light attack spam will be the highest DPS option against hordes. Dangerous because it has almost no stagger though - H1 > Special Attack > L1 for high single target burst if you have good attack speed - H1 > push attack spam will be your best single target combo if you lack attack speed, but will drain stamina which makes it dangerous
What's giving you so much toughness regen? I mainly play Ogryn and just started Zealot and regen a lot slower. Kinda makes clearing big packs with gunners kinda rough.

Np! That talent is so good that I wish I had an extra point to invest in it. However, as good as it is, the rest is simply better because you honestly won't have much trouble getting your Ult back.

Is there a reason you went with inexorable judgment instead of blazing piety? I'd have gone with that for higher crit chance, but i don't know if the damage spike from momentum is better overall
If you swap to blazing piety thats a 70% crit chance instead of 55. You yourself wouldn't even need the add ons coz you're do good at dodging, so you could take the double dash upgrade for your combat ability
Inexorable Judgement is a far stronger keystone for any weapon that doesn't need Blazing Piety to crit reliably (hence it was nerfed). Even after the nerf, the attack speed and damage bonus will far outpace just a crit bonus.
I see. And i noticed you gain momentum while inexorable judgment is active so its up almost 100% of the time. I'd still drop its add on and get disdain tho. Good vid 👍

"Increases the melee damage of your next melee attack by 5% for each enemy hit by your previous melee attack. Can only apply every other hit since it does not trigger while already active. Gets 1 stack per enemy hit. Damaging melee special actions of ranged weapons consume stacks (i.e. bashes with Bolter, Braced Autogun, Headhunter Autogun, Stub Revolver)." It's not that good..
I agree that Zealots can seem OP, but who would play the class if you gave them no power when they always have to be in melee/danger because they can't backline like Vets or Psykers? Also, if you're suggesting that all builds are equal.. Well I don't think I need to explain that one but hard disagree lol

Zealot can stack attack speed to some pretty ridiculous levels!
