Disclaimer: I do not encourage anyone to use this build. It will be fun for the first few minutes to keep shooting without stopping, but it gets boring quickly. Fatshark might change them, but until then, Krourk and "P"aul will remain in this awkward state. Maybe the "Secrets of the Machine God" update will change that-who knows. Also, for those saying that the second blunt smasher is a mace and not a morning-star, you could be right. I've seen images of that being called both a morning-star and a mace and if I made a mistake there, I apologize. Late edit: Seems like the supposed morning star was indeed a flanged mace. My apologize. And regarding Secrets of the Machine God, "P"aul had been buffed just a tiny bit and the Krourk was indirectly nerfed via a change to "blaze away". Build shown into the video remains pretty much the same, however I've noticed a huge improvement by taking the PBB active skill and Coward Culling Aura (who could've guessed), making it decent and viable. Cheers!
Ogryns role is to unF a clusterF. Most matches fail because teams don't stick together, almost always the Zealots fault, and die in a clusterF. Playing Ogryn is unequivocally big brain because you have to do all the thinking for the 3 babies you get put with. Which is why you can easily tell when a Zealot main is playing an Ogryn, because they don't have a brain.
Bombs away has 1 redeeming quality, location. You can grab both the damage and stagger perks plus their associated toughness boosts. I mix it with a momentum and confident strike on mk IV bully club. Damage isn't obscene but you literally can't take melee damage from hords since you just don't drop under 200 toughness wich you just naturally have.
I love the ogryn so much i have two in my squad line up. One is a bulwark who was a miner with the two handed pick axe protecting his prospect with a ripper gun and the other is a gun lugger with a twin linked heavy stubber and a maul and slab shield.
Good stuff. I love how you put the two clips of you using the power maul and then didn't for the rest. What kinda stuff do you want fatshark to give ogryn, because boy does he get stale for me quickly.
With the current restrictions/conditions of this "build", using P.Maul would handicap me a lot. When you have complete freedom picking anything you want you could make the melee "usable". As for what to give it to not be stale? The "Secrets of the Machine God" update promises a 2-handed weapon for ogryn. Not sure how much that will help but we'll see. For sure I'd love if they ever add an Augmented Fist considering that there are slave ogryn miniatures with that. How lore accurate is that? I don't know, never got deep into the lore.
Honestly, heavy las. Give it a flashlight so ogryn can see in blackout, and by making it a heavy semi auto it would handle and play in a fairly unique way for ogryns other guns.
My take on the weapons as I've used both. - I feel like back when power maul could cc crushers, human elite packs, and standard waves or grunts while doing ok damage it was underrated but not great, but it's lost that now soo..... Revert plz FS? Koruk. My first god rolled mini gun. It still underpreformed compared to my low 70's max gorgonum and lack the handling, versatility, and perk combo potential of the Achilys. So maybe up it against unarmored and flack plus better stagger/ suppression and amo pool/ mag and deploy speed (but not reload) The damage I'm the most willing to drop in exchange for starting accuracy on first shot being higher. The idea is to make it into THE minigun for suppressive fire, stop shooters from shooting or keep scary melee threats stunlocked. Wont kill like gorg, but would have close to the same range and at least some handleablility with the draw speed to react to the threats you'll be using it to supress.
The worst loadout should be trying to accomplish something in the worst manner possible. For me that's a single target heavy attack focused build with bleed. To get the most out of the build you have to: 1. kill an elite, 2 push 25 enemies, 3 hit your target with a quick heavy, lasts 5 sec this is your count down to get everything off in time. 4 have your allies suppress the enemies all around you. 5 quick heavy hit as many targets as you can with a single heavy attack once as fast as possible, 6 get hit, 7 shout, 8 and fully charge your weapons heavy attack on the target to get max effective dmg on that one enemy. This is for me.. the worst Ogryn build you could have, not because it's useless or have nodes that you never use. But because everything is achievable all at once while contributing to a single hit of heavy attack dmg that does in fact hit hard... to a single enemy... but... you don't really contribute at all running this xD It's so bad.
It’s so funny people are like ooh Ogryn overturned too easy! But I never see anyone talk about how Zealot is so by far the most overpowered class that veteran is basically useless when you could just play the better veteran (zealot) And then zealot keeps getting buffs lol
8:19 is it fun though? YES personally for my Ogryn, i go with the perks that regen toughness on heavy attack hits with the heavy hitter keystone and 3 curio's that have +17% toughness refined with +5% toughness so that caps at +66% toughness and the refinement that gives +30% toughness regen so that caps out at +90% toughness regen. only auric missions are challenging at that point
@@seanmaguire380 It does stack. Toughness stacks additively while Toughness Regeneration stacks multiplicatively as far as I'm aware. Meaning for Toughness you can get a total of 66% for 166 Toughness and for Toughness Regeneration it's 1 = 30% 2 = 51% 3 = 65.7%. In terms of how much Toughness Regeneration you should stack, it's personal preference. On my Psyker and Ogryn, I'll stack as much Toughness Regeneration as I can because Psyker is squishy and Toughness Regeneration stacks multiplicatively with the Lynchpin talent on the Ogryn. On the other hand for my Zealot and Veteran I stack none.

Ogryn, easy to play, hard to master. Especially if you play him accurately, you MUST protec the lil 'uns

3:15 The middle one is a flanged mace, not a morningstar. Morningstars have spherical heads covered in spikes.
even if it was a picture of a morningstar they are still maces

Your channel is so underrated, you literally crank out top tier content. I can't believe that you're not as big as other youtubers

I can’t wait for this channel to build to its prime
Finally some brain nourishment.
Man, I'm hella surprised you only got like around 500 subs, this is some quality shit.

Bro cooked the best video I've seen on Darktide
Cerveza Cristal?! SOMOS EL MEJOR PAIS DE CHILE🔥
Awesome and fun af video, loved it 👌
This video gave me ADHD
Me too
Nice vid, here is the sacrifice to the algorithm. I rarely play darktide so I'm definitely not that good, but I enjoy no brain builds.
I'd say that Darktide, like a lot of the co-op horde shooters are great when you take regular breaks from it, just to repeat the cycle later.

nice vid dude! like the editing
Everyone thinks Ogryn is OP until theyre out of position
Quality over quantity it's always worth it, great video man
