- LG G8X Review! I like this phone a lot. LG has done an amazing job of straddling their usual premium phone strategy, while also competing in a space closer to OnePlus for pricing. Unique features, great performance, excellent battery. There aren't many weaknesses here. Let's dig in! LG G8X REVIEW IS GO!

Regardless of what bigger tech youtubers try to persuade, I think LG did good this year from the G8, V50, and the G8X
Main issue, it was a ROUGH year for LG's distribution.
Yeah. Much more desirable this year than like the last 4 years.
Sony too
Also bad advertisement. And then they stop after like a month or 2 after it comes out while others promotes their new phones for like 6 months. Still love them though, I know LG for what it really is.
So should I get V50 or the G8X? The symmetric dual screen and the case improvements seem to be worth the trade off.
Juan is like LG, one of the best out there but not getting enough recognition. 😔
The LGenius
Juan will always, keep the headphone jack :)
He's the Quad Juan DAC
It's their updates. I 100% wanted this phone but their updates mean there's 0 chance of buying this phone
how long do you do with a phone? 1 year 2 years? 5 years... I dont care about version upgrades because its hard to tel 1 android version from the next and afet 2 years ill be on my second new phone . and i can tell you upgrading to new versions is a pain in the @$$ i just upgrades my sony zx3 to android 10... and I'm not seeing anything different that i did not have in version 9... version 9 runs a lot better..... then 10 on my phone i can tell you im dealing with hickups and slowdowns and incompatible software... as long that you get security updates its oke.
c est normal lg g8 est sortit et 6 moi apres lg sort le lg g8x pourqoi ils n ont pas sorti
lg g8
lg g8s
lg g8x
en meme temps comme samsung
s10e s10 et s10plus pour le choix et le porte money
Juan is the only reviewer that shows LG the respect it deserves. Watching this on my G8x and enjoying it. All done LG.
How is the battery life?
@@LOUISVILLECARDINALS well it's only been a few days but so far no complaints. Full day no problem. 4000mah.
@@BLACKHOLE498 thanks for the response I been looking at this phone for a while I'm using s10+ but kinda getting tired of curved screens want a flat screen phone and this one is the only one with the features I need
@@LOUISVILLECARDINALS no problem..I've been using LG phones for a number of years and haven't had any issues. There's also the V50 which is an under the radar beast of a phone.
Ben Sin from Forbes, Asia is also very objective and has good videos and articles. Not as good as Juat, but I also folow him. Hi's more focused on the asian market, but it reviews al the inportant western launches.
I appreciate that you have a spine and are ready to bash any manufacturer when bashing is deserved.
Stay genuine.
And any reviewer
Today received android 11 😍, silky smooth...wow LG. I was a samsung user and moved to iPhone due to the laggy touchwiz. Got G8x as a secondary phone but now this is my primary device. Even after shutting down the mobile division LG is still supporting us. Please come back LG in 3 years when I plan to upgrade from this amazing phone.
Best review of this unit yet! It checked every box I wanted in a phone since I can't get any good HTC phones on Sprint anymore.
That's the aftermath of those who only wanna talk about and praise Samsung and iPhone.
I'm glad I have it. I'm also annoyed by those knock off "dual screen attachments" that show up on social media feeds claiming they can go to any phone. Scammers.
I mean this is my first LG since the V20 and I'm loving it. Coming from the Note 9, it really is nice! Plus the free dual screen from Sprint won me over 😂
And the free TV 😆
They just giving EVERYTHING away LOL
@@SomeGadgetGuy if it's free it's for me 😂
This my upgrade to V20. I ran that thing into the ground cause it feels like outside of this device most manufacturers are taking away features for thinner safe boring phones while LG is actually innovating and trying to provide a unique experience
Still on my V20, love the phone. And I'm between this or a V40/50. I'm really gonna miss the IR. And still work great, only problem been that the second battery bloated so much it pooed the screen out on one side. Tho the screen is undamaged. So it just have some tape between the screen protector and the phone, making sure if it pops the other side screen doesn't fall.
Man I really love my g8x. The 2 screens are amazing and I bought a case so when I go to work I only take the phone. But I am having a serious issue with the fingerprint and I sure miss the fingerprint in the back. Wish we could have both that would be awesome!
Or if they would enable knock code 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
The FP sensor is garbage for sure
I ended up returning it I'll wait till it gets better and slimmer or someone makes a better one. I certainly did live it but that fp was killing me
@@readytoridehouston bro can we apply screen guard or it gets in the way of the dual screen case???
Got mine about 2 weeks ago and as others have said the fingerprint sensor is crap. I disabled it for unlocking the phone went with the passcode. Luckily for Banking and other things the fingerprint sensor still works fine which is odd.
This review literally made me get this phone thank you Juan!!!
I really liked what you said in the last part of the video! That shud thing.
It would have been great if other smartphone companies had quad dac on their smartphones😥
Or just ANY headphone DAC...
My biggest complaint about my Note 9: the sound. Coming from an LG V20, the Note's sound is horrible!
I just watched 2 of your videos. I subscribed while watching the first one. I've never seen anyone with a review style like yours. You're informative, entertaining, unbiased & intelligent. I have fun watching your videos, & I actually learn something! You talk about everything wrong with other reviewers, so I don't have to tell you about that. Just know I completely agree. I feel like later this year, when it's time for me to buy a new phone, I'll be able to make a much more informed decision because of watching your videos. Thanks for that! 💯😊
@@bryweasley2504 he's not Fake like many others.
I'm pretty new to your channel and I can't even express how satisfying it is to watch your recent tech videos. What a breathe of fresh air. It has become nauseating to watch video after video of a single product and hear nothing but regurgitating of the same exact info and specs almost verbatim to the last "review". We are seeing less and less constructive and actual useful information for the possible would-be consumer about using the products and instead we're fed the same hive mind bullshit and reading of spec sheets. This is very refreshing in the current state of tech reviews. Keep doing what you're doing.
I had a V20... I got in love with LG V Series... Now i use V30... I will love to get V60... But is nothing to buy here in Ireland...😞
Me too
Rear display fingerprint readers are 100% the answer for foldables. Idk how lg thought me opening the phone and then unlocking it was a better idea than me doing it in one motion
This is why you are my favorite tech reviewer. I have a Note 10plus and an iPhome XS Max and a Pixel 4XL. I just ordered my LG G8X as I miss the DAC that was on my old G7. I've had a few other LG phones in the past from the 3D camera one, to the G3, G5 and V10. They are the underdogs for sure but I hope they keep making exceptional devices.
Fingers crossed they can pivot and don't end up like HTC.
We are upgrading today from our G7's - I had a G5 first and we love our LG phones! They can have their iPhones and it's lil emoji's I can get more work done with this phone. Can't wait to see the dual screens! Good review and thanks!
Which stylus you are using here??? Thank you.
Juan - You and a handful of other reviewers (Painfully Honest Tech and Ben's Gadget Reviews) are amongst the few reviewers I have seen that delves into a phone and shows the consumer what works and what doesn't work regardless of brand. Keep up the great work!
I have never been an apple fan. My first cell phone was an lg 265 flip phone with the glass front. Have never gone anything other than samsung or LG most recently LG G7. I just got the LG G8 dual screen a couple days ago. I absolutely love it. Can do things on my phone that no one else can either on a samsung or iPhone device. Have most my friends with iPhones when they see my phone they want to switch. I love having something different to what everyone else has.
It's really nice having some fresh competition. 🙂
I love your impartial reviews of everything. I've heard so many people start off their review on this phone just bashing it before highlighting everything it does well. It's a shame. Thank you for restoring my confidence in this sector. 😘
Purchasing a phone this week, Buddy. Should I get the G8x or V60. Thanks
I've had LGs and Samsung's. My Samsung's have always crapped out quick. Battery would die quickly over time, everything would run slower faster, and would just drop calls and not send texts, etc. LGs have always been sturdy, last long, and stay fast. I've had this fiesta for over 2.5 years and it still runs fast and gives me no problems. Battery is just now slimming down, but still after using TH-cam and Facebook for hours, I'll go to bed with 30% battery. Granted my brightness is only 35%, but that's a battery drain the higher it is. Overall, I love and trust LG. I'm scared to go back to a Samsung. Lg has always been good to me, from the flip phones, to EnV, to cheaper end smart phones. LG is highly underrated!! Thanks Juan, I think I may pick this up in a few months for an upgrade.
juzt because this review I will subscribe, I believe you are the most impartial and objective tech youtuber and that is so refreshing
I use LG heavily in my home (washer, dryer, dishwasher). I've never paid much attention to their phones, and wow - How amazing. I'm buying one of these tonight! Thanks for being my favorite reviewer/fellow tech person!
I've been rock'n the LG V40 since it launched, It's a Great phone! I would upgrade to the LG G8X if it weren't for this 5g thing. I feel like I need to wait for a 5g phone so it's future-proof.
Not like that V40 can't hang for a while. Wait and see might not be a bad play.
@@SomeGadgetGuy some serious self discipline will happen 🤔🤣😂
Go and watch MR Mobile's video and pocket now podcast .. 5g isn't properly useful for consumer readyness until 2021. So in the mean time you can buy or you want to future buy lg v50 or wait for lg v60 which comes like in march or april next yr
Audio should be the same between the V40 in the G8X. Same DAC chip, same tuning by Meridian... And same lame decision by LG not to allow manual impedance adjustment.
@@Scott-DJ audio is different since v40 uses mono speaker where as g8x uses proper stereo speakers
Thanks to your excellent review I just got this for $10 a month at, of all places, AT&T.
LOL I hope you dig the new phone!
I'm insanely glad you actually review phones instead of just doing the same ol same ol. I've said it before, you are the reason I bought the v20. Because of that I also bought the v40 and g8. I have yet to be disappointed outside of battery life (the g8 is actually good).
Consistently consistent work. Keep being one of the most impartial tech reviewers on TH-cam. Breath of fresh air for people like me. Love your content, as always. 👍
🙂👍
This might be the one to finally replace my BlackBerry Priv.
I know, I'm a dinosaur, but I just love this slider.
12:40 what game is this?
What does the fox say 11:31
Great video man, your videos are the reason I bought an LG G8 and I love it. I switched from a galaxy s10
I lost my V40 :( I was thinking between v50 and g8x, now I know I will get a g8x, you can find it new without dual screen for about $350
If you can add the dual screen it's unlike any other phone currently out. The G8X really was built with that second screen in mind. Otherwise it's still a solid phone, but standalone, I kinda like the regular G8 a little better as a single screen phone.
Great review! My Lg v35 still one of the best phones I purchased love the cameras. Keep up the great work 👍
Still rockin' my V30. Best phone I have ever had.
1:01 Awww I remembered my LG Vu. I actually liked the 4:3 phone. That was one of the phones that reviewers also panned to obscurity because it did not fit in with the cool phones.
LG vu would've been a big success if it supported tablet low DPI scaling
LG did successfully pioneering 18:9 (kf700 g6) and 21:9 (bl40 gw990)
I LUSTED after this phone. Got the chance to pick one up for cheap, and I had to grab it, even though it's a locked Verizon model.
Harys Viewty yeah, plus the stylus is not stowed within the phone like the note2. But still, that phone was not bad. Just wasn’t cool enough for the reviewers.
Bought g8x and I did not think I would like this phone so much! Just having the hinge display when Im eating outside puts galaxys and iphones to shame
It's funny how fast that hinge TOTALLY changed my mind on dual screen. Even though I don't always have both screens multi-tasking, I OFTEN prop it up clamshell style to stream video.
@@SomeGadgetGuy netflix never looked better 😊
Unbelievable deal on this phone in India right now. I just bought mine for roughly $275! Can't wait to get my hands on it!
Got mine for $250. Needed to see a sensible review like this one. Can’t wait to get my device either.
My issues with LG didn't change between the G4 and the G7 ThinQ (current phone). Their image processing is terrible. Zoom in and everything looks like a weird oil painting. Using a port of GCam helps, but that app is still buggy on it. Their memory management is HORRIBLE!! It's constantly force closing everything - INCLUDING my pinned apps! Pinned apps aren't supposed to disappear from your recent list - but LG kills 'em. Not just out of memory, but out of the recents list entirely. Was the same on Oreo as it remains on Pie. And software updates remain sloooooooooooooooooooow to roll out. I got the October security patch last week. First update I had in MONTHS.
The hardware itself is nice. I like the build quality. They've finally put their bootloops to rest. They feel nice in the hand. But the day-to-day user experience is lackluster. Software support is lackluster to flat out disappointing. Y'know that feeling you get when you unbox a new phone and just love how much better it is than your old phone, even in little ways? I did NOT get that coming from the OnePlus 3 last year. I immediately missed my OLD phone. A phone that just finally had it's final software update pushed out a couple of weeks ago .. 3.5 YEARS after it was released. Darn near Apple support life territory there. Even better than Pixel! All the OEMs need to take a real hard look at what the team at OnePlus is doing.
If LG could get that kind of software support for what is usually pretty good hardware, fix their memory management, improve their image processing ... I'd probably take them off of my "never again" list. But right now, LG's sitting on my never again list. I'm probably going back to OnePlus for my next phone.
All that aside, glad you're still giving LG some coverage! They may not be super popular anymore, but they still deserve solid reviews. Keep it up!
Awesome as always...I've had mine two weeks and got it for free by adding a line on AT&T. Since I've had it, my Note 9 hadn't been getting much love. Keep up the good work!
It's a REALLY good fight right! I still miss S-Pen, and I REALLY hope LG can make a DEX competitor next year, but this year's LGs have been wonderfully competitive.
I just ordered an LG v60. Praying that the carrier version they basically gave me for $300 financed over 2 years is dual SIM like the international models. The v60 has every option I want.
This was a great review. Thanks for an unbiased "real" review. Just ordered it this morning on Amazon. This phone is now $650 with same day shipping. Can't wait to get it and try it out.
Just ordered my G8X from Amazon and got it kinda cheap considering I used my Amazon cash back points (Paid just under $400.00) for the G8X. It'll be here Wednesday. Can't wait.
Just ordered this and I'm excited to go back to Lg! I had G flex and G pro 2. I like big phones but disappointed when they released G flex 2 and no successor to the G pro 2. Currently using Nokia 7+ but having issues on usb port. Thanks for the review and great content. Subbed! Hope your channel will reach 1m soon! Stay safe.
😊👍
I have the V50S (Korean "big boy" version of the G8X). Has 8GB RAM and 250GB of storage. Paid $800 on eBay for it brand new.
Everything he's saying is absolutely right. I was trying to decide between this and a Note 10 Plus, and I don't regret my decision. The speaker quality alone is crazy. I've never had to turn a phone down because it was "too loud."
Once you get used to the case you'll love the phone, especially if you like to multi-task. And then if you don't want to carry it you still have a solid standalone phone. I'm glad I bought it over the Note. Sometimes you have to go off the beaten path. LG has been a trendsetter for years, they just suck at marketing.
They suck SO BAD at marketing their phones LOL.
Juan is so refreshing. Understands and helps others understand the LG niche. As long as LG has the bombest DAC and hp jack I'm sold. That one feature wins every time. Musicians like me love that we can use the outstanding video features combined with badass sound reproduction to record our performances without schlepping tons of gear. Something many people don't even think about. We are lucky to have you Juan to bring us honest and practical info about the phones we love. I love the comments about the anti-LG types. Funny! Thanks!
Excellent review!
Watching this video on my LG G4, having sold the Pixel 3 XL and waiting for my first LG V series phone, the LG V40 6/128 in Carmine Red this week. 😁
Also I had G7 and G8s.
That's QUITE a round up there. 😁
I seriously consider to buying the G8X but here in Greece where I live LG had stopped to bring her smartphones official since almost 4 years.. And now the only way to buy LG phones straight from Greece is by resellers..and costs 900€ bundled with second screen which is very pricey for me..so I decided to buy LG V40 new for 357 euros which I have been wanting since it was announced
and waiting for the G8X to drop it's price.
Awesome review Juan. I have the LG V50S and I fall in love with it more and more each day. GREAT JOB LG!!!!
I keep telling people. Last couple years of LG have been REALLY solid.
What's the v50s? Is that the v50 with only one screen?
Why_are_there _no_names No it has 2 as well... it is just the imported version of this phone with 5G
Yeah, depending on region there were variations on the same idea, but I think Gadget Godess is right. If a phone is a "G" it's 4G. If it's a "50" it has 5G. I think.
@@SomeGadgetGuy after some intense googling. The LG v50s is a Korean exclusive variant of the lg v50 with more ram and storage but a lower resolution screen with a g8x style notch?
I use a tempered glass on the main phone side and it does not bind with the second screen when it's closed.
I just bought the X yesterday, can't wait for my dual case. Upgraded from a Galaxy 8+ it is taking some getting use to to the LG. I have been a Samsung user for 3 or 4 phones.
This dual screen deal was to good to pass up.
Good review and you have a new subscriber.
🙂👍
What kind of cases do ppl recommend of this can take one and do I cover all 3 screens with protection
I just switched my s10+ with the G8x. Im not even upset that i have to wait for the dual screen 3-6 weeks. Its just as powerful and fast as the s10+. I only question the cooling system. As a gamer, im super worried. Especially since I will be running multiple apps. Earlier I was watching youtube and it was heating up for no apparent reason, but it did quickly cool down after.
Would love to have seen a pen added somehow. Better software and security updates also!
Have this phone for almost a year now. Just find out LG had a VR headset, LG 360 VR, and i bought to use on this phone. Think it will work?
Just got my lg g8x from sprint. My one complaint is that sprint doesn't include the second screen at purchase. I'm waiting 3-6 weeks for my second screen to be shipped to me. But I'm beyond excited for my second screen to arrive. Great video as always Juan!
Interesting. I had no idea. I thought they all came bundled. Thanks for that heads up!
@@SomeGadgetGuy the second screen is bundled in the sense that i do not pay extra for it. You just don't get second screen at the store. Well at least with sprint.
Lg is always my fave im an engineer and never had to worry about my lg's durability even before the creation of gorilla glass, Lg may not be the best for fanciness but is in this guys opinion the best for durability w/ other features that either contend with or beat the other competitors....soooooooo, THANK YOU LG, Redknight/ /Red2902 loves you.
Also I just subbed and already love your channel like a fan boy because your reviews are, simply put, exactly what i been looking for....reviewing individual functions and then looking at it as a whole with all the pros and cons from each feature awesome, if you did durability reviews would make this channel 100x better for me(also just love seeing something destroied or even a destruction attempt)
LOL there one thing i just can't get into. Not a fan of gadget destruction porn 😁
8:40 great mic quality.
Not too shabby right?
@@SomeGadgetGuy simply the best. 😁
Exactly, the mic performance was so surprising in that environment!
you can go to Google play and down load G8x wide mode (free) to use both screens on almost all apps
Man I always got annoyed when people complained about the camera hump... Then they got rid of it & then they're like oh its too slippery and smooth on a desk... It was just the petty things on the v30.
I'm sure a case would make that hump and a 'no-hump' redundant...
At least we didn't reach iPhone territory where it was a feature to hold a phone a certain way in order to not block out the reception...
As I said in Twitter, this phone beat the Note for me. I've heard some people say the battery sucks and I'm trying to figure out how. The cameras are great. Am I right in saying the main sensor is from the pixel? The pics are fantastic and better with gcam. Headphone jack is great. It really is a great phone! LG won me back for the first time since the G3. I did try the tempered glass and a huge no go. I have a PET on the second screen. On the front I just put a tempered glass to help. I love it!
The main sensor is about the same as what we've been using for years. It's REALLY well understood hardware, and is a terrific performer. Nearly indistinguishable in terms of optics from Samsung, Apple, or any other mainstream 12MP option.
The main cam uses Sony imx363 just like pixel234 and LG v40 g8 v50
The wide angle sadly uses Samsung sensor identical to v30 wide, with same fov & aperture like g5 wide
so which is better in your own opinion? lg g8x thinq or lg v50 thinq 5g?
LG, where's the optimization/app fo read an ebook on dual screen????? It would be PERFECT
You can do it with wide view pwa or omnitasking browser
@@harysviewty i know it's possible, but would be killer with simply Kindlle or Play Books apps
Always enjoy your reviews brother, miss your camera reviews, not trying to say anything i know i can pay to watch them :) God bless. this LG is my favorite device this year by far until the MS dual screen device is launched there will be no competition , and right now it will fit my needs and will save me from carrying 2 phones all day long .
What kind of ear buds are best to listen to music with this phone?
Any that you like? It's a great DAC. Should do well with just about anything you plug in except for maybe planars?
What stylus is that? I'm considering this phone but I neeeeed a stylus since I've always been a Galaxy note user
it's surprising that they have Android 12 update on this phone, Im using the V50s variant (basically the same phone but korea only) and works well
LG went out on a high note. Some of the best phones ever made and decently good software support.
I love LG phones , its underrated because of their pr market . i have g7 its so fast , the camera is good and so is the battery is good
The LG G8X, does it have the Swipe and Home Gesture Button? Found by accident on a LG Stylo 5 taken a little to get used wouldn't use anything else love it just 1 button that does so much.
are Nintendo DS emulators able to take advantage of there being two screens?
Yes. Also PS4 remote play & web stadia
I don't think any apps know what to do with it yet. What you COULD do though is map the LG controller to the DS emulator. That SHOULD work well. Triggers are still a BIT of a bummer, but you can make a whole custom gamepad to fix that.
Hey mate, from India here, we're getting this currently on a price of 270$ USD. I don't use my camera at all. All I need is performance for gaming and multi tasking, durability, display, UI(any bloat) and well BATTERY backup. So will it be a great buy???
V40 user. I will hold out until the V60. Hopefully they make it with the dual screen case that's even more versatile.
As a V30 user I'm holding out for the V60 in hopes that it's available for all carriers. Unlike what they did to the V50
It's tough anymore to REALLY recommend one year upgrades, unless you get really granular. The V30 is still a solid phone today. The V40? You're doing fine.
February cannot come soon enough.
Would you say it's worth if you are not gonna use the dual screen?
Is there any lg g8x's or are they all the same i went to buy a lg g8x and the description says not the dual screen model
I’ve enjoyed many LG phones, yet they have not survived after the bootloop gate
It was a hell of a misss and across multiple models
G2 touch issue
G3 screen off
G4 V10. Bootloop
This is what happened to me
G5 was fine
G6 fingerprint sensore broke
Lg make very good phones but with very questionable quality
They should be focusing on rivaling oneplus rather than samaung
The fact the second screen is detachable is great! You might get tired of the bulk/novelty and at $700 it’s still a good value regular phone. While the older attempts kept you locked in.
Can I get a link to that stylus you were using. I got my wife a G8X for Christmas and I think the 🖊 will be a nice addition.
again the best man on earth to do the full deep dive you didn't miss anything to cover , man I wish I could find the G8 korean variant in my country
Can you use SwiftKey keyboard on this and still have all these dual screen options with copy/paste etc? I use this keyboard for many many years and it brilliantly learn and predict what I type.
I make good use of my V20s replaceable battery and infrared sensor, so it's hard to upgrade. Doesn't help that it seems the newer phones' notches blocks video on full screen. Make no mistake though: should I upgrade, I'm sticking to LG phones as long as they make them, and Im glad someone's covering them. It's the only line of phones that fit my use case (I'm more an audio guy than a camera guy)
Audio, LG is the last great option. Shame so few other companies even bothered to try.
@@SomeGadgetGuy problem is that people are content with Bluetooth headphones. "What's the point of LGs DAC if Bluetooth headphones are a thing? " is a common thought in real life and on the internet
First time viewer of your reviews.
I found it very informative and entertaining.
Thank you!
which phone would you recommend, lg v50 or g8x ? I plan to use the phone with the dual screen case.
@Juan LG just sold it for 249 dollars in an Flipkart sale in India. Whats your take on that?
One I don't have. But want. Thanks for info Juan
👍
Why no one talks about how to answer and take a call with the case closed?
Great review! Did you face any problem with the selfie camera not focusing properly? Apparently there is no AF in this camera module, just fixed focus on infinity. I am not worry about selfies, but about video calls. Would hate to have the camera focusing on the background rather than my face during a work call.
As a owner of the G8 Thinq Fold, I can say it really does rock. It really does improve your tasking, and really has the best sound systems I've heard in any smart phone.
After being disappointed over ho-hum cookie cutter phones, this is truly a breath of fresh air, of forward thinQing.
Thanks for your FORWARD thinQing and open minded review.
If this where a Samsung or a Iphone, the Mr. Mobiles reviewers would be gushing over this, instead of chitting on it.
Absolutely loved the review as always
Love my LG G8X. I religiously switch between this beast of a phone and my Galaxy s10e. Just depends on my mood and how I'm feeling. Lol
I really want this phone because I like the added muti-tasking possibility along with the design being perfect for gaming
Good reasons to consider the phone 😊
Awesome review man! On the topic of hi res headphone jack output, xiaomi seems to be advertising their new phones as capable of hi res output. Would love to see you put them to the test when they come out 🙏
I'd REALLY hope that to be true. It would be nice to have ANY extra competition for headphone audio.
In India, on 16th October, we are going to get the G8x thinQ at a price of INR 20000 which means 273USD. Just hope I don't miss it 😭🙏
Frek yes man speak on the little guys!!! So hard to get a solid LG review
Does the G8X have the same excellent microphones as the v40 and v50?
LG should of included a 3DS game card slot
Well you could find nds emulator.
LG shud of made the phone out of diamonds but only charge 73 cents for it.
Why is every body buzzing LG, about Nintendo DS. Never seen one of thoes that say LG copied Nintendo, buzzing Samsung or any other phone OEM's about the ultrawide camera, dual camera setups, 2k resolution, new aspect ratio standard, double tap to open AND sleep and the list can go on....

@@cristiannegoescu4561 with the audio quad DAC and manual mode control for camera...
My only complaint about LG is they don't release devices everywhere at the same time, region specific models and delayed releases is not a good thing to do.They offer good hardware but at the same time just leave a little to nit pick by releasing region specific models
Definitely a concern for LG. from the G6 to now, their regional distribution has gotten shakier as their market percentage has shrunk. Makes me wonder how long we can expect them to keep putting this much effort into nice alternative phones.
Where to get lg phones online? Im trying to get the v50 or the 3 rear cameras g8 to be delivered here but couldnt find it on amazon
Sir please can you tell me...does lg g8x supports stylus/ s pen
Can this be hooked up to a tv or monitor and used as pc replacement with keyboard and mouse input?
Hey Juan i really love your channel. I am using a lg g8x and i am happy with it. Can you tell me from where have you got that stylus pen you were using on the phone.
I am about to buy a new phone and it's either V50 or g8x. What is important other than quad dac, is battery life.
How more battery life do you get in single screen mode with the g8x over the V50?
My first smartphone was a LG G2, kind of considering going back to them after a year spent with Huawei..
Great review, Waiting on my 2nd screen from LG. What Game was that? at the 1:51 mark.
