Nearly every house has linked rooftops/pathways. No mods.

either i am an idiot or those settlements seem unnecessarily complicated to build, especially to build precisely, and it is time consuming as hell ... what do you people think??? (i dont use mods)
If you're not enjoying the building don't do it. Personally it is rewarding for me, gathering materials and putting them to good use. If it takes two days to build it cool, if it takes a week so be it. I should imagine they all took a very long time but I'm sure all was done with passion for the game.
I like the settler sleeping quarters to be more like a hotel/motel with each bed having it's own individual room, instead of being like an army barracks with every bed side-by-side in one large room.
Once I made a raider themed settlement at sanctuary. It had a junk wall all the way round. It had two gates. One at the back and one at the front to the bridge. It had raider spikes and flaming barrels in front of the entrances to the gates. The house I stayed in had a skull tent and flaming barrels in front of the doors. Kind of like a "raider chieftain" Hutt.
Although this has been tried with previous bethesda games, it's just a bitch to get working properly and never really succeeded. In general, taking a game and making it multiplayer if it wasn't built with that in mind is outrageously difficult. Even if it is, adding this feature to a game is a very complex part of game design. Keeping track of the same assets across multiple computers simultaneously... you can pretty much forget about it with FO4, it's impressive enough that Bethesda was able to make the game as it is, with all the assets they have to keep track of especially in complex settlements and when travelling across the wasteland quickly. But man, would that be ridiculously cool...
I am honestly impressed by all these well made settlements. These honestly inspire me to make an awesome. Maybe not as crazy high as this but I do love the look and feel of all of them. Just I would like some Brotherhood of steel, institute, or railroad settlements. That doesn’t me they are terrible. It just shows these guys knows what it truly means to make a real settlement.
Lol same here. Some of these builds make my settlements look like they were built by someone mentally challenged. However I have learned tips and/or tricks from instructional videos on YT. If only I wasn't on the console.
I have a problem with the motel, motels are designed for cars, Fallout is a very walkable world (with integration for cars), and the motel is designed to walk to your room, therefore the motel is actually a hotel.
None of them have any character or soul. Not believable. Look like something designed in minecraft, compare this to some of the skyrim builds. It's a mile off.
These settlements are trash. Just cause you got dozens of mods to make a large settlement doesn't make it a good map. In many settlements, using less space may even make it better. Ugly settlements everywhere
I liked these, but I honestly took more pleasure in a huge ass tower build I made in Sactuary Hills. I died and had to rebuild like 40 times because of death, poor constrution, etc what a pain in the ass.

Jesus Christ I can barely place a damn ceiling fan. Very talented, determined, an patient creators, that's for certain.
Where is the EvilViking13 on this list?!
Evilking is good but 99% of his builds are modded
EvilVIking .... Stupid autocorrect
+Timbo Underskroll these builds are too. I'm pretty sure a good bit of the objects aren't vanilla. There's a prewar shower even.
yea these are running mods too.
However we all know evilviking13 is number one....it would be 5 of his settlements. lol.
+Timbo Underskroll So? That's like saying you're not impressed at skyscrapers because they use steel beams
This video has encouraged me to hop back in to Fallout 4. I haven't touched it in months.
Anything from evilviking13
I think oversea bridge is my favorite :D its just so cool by the ocean and seems like a place to eat and hang out super sick
"you can actually live there in real life!!!" lol
I like the settler sleeping quarters to be more like a hotel/motel with each bed having it's own individual room, instead of being like an army barracks with every bed side-by-side in one large room.
evilviking13 should have been in here
yeah we've heard that about 1000 times. We forgot to include him
Love the music you used as your backing :)
none of those are that impressive besides the one you made number 1, they're just big spaces with no creativity or detail
that's what i thought anyone can build a big base but people rarely put in the work to make it detailed and neat.
*Ahem* Evilviking13
Kingsport Lighthouse is dope, are you kidding me? It totally looks livable.
HexManiacCiaran its your opinion though so stfu
Yo wtf? I can't build half these? Plus these take time
The thing is that even if you make a settlement into an impenetrable fortress they will still ask you for help
and I thought *I* was wasting indecent amounts of time for my lousy lil settlements...
0:28 the next ten seconds are just filled with alliterations
2:19 looks like imperial city
Once I made a raider themed settlement at sanctuary. It had a junk wall all the way round. It had two gates. One at the back and one at the front to the bridge. It had raider spikes and flaming barrels in front of the entrances to the gates. The house I stayed in had a skull tent and flaming barrels in front of the doors. Kind of like a "raider chieftain" Hutt.
RIP Fps
Player: (Puts tons of time and effort into making a magnificent settlement)
NPC: The farm ain't much... but it's something.
Some of these feel a bit too ordered and even, they don't look lived in and improvised.
I swear came up with the Kingsport Lighthouse Idea around 2015
I don't think you should include peoples settlements where mods are used
it's funny that some of them are looking far more better than the diamond city
someone needs to sit down and integrate a multi player mod into fallout 4's engine and run RP/survival servers. would be some epic shit.
Well well looks like someone got what they wanted!
@@HKMQ lmao
I am honestly impressed by all these well made settlements. These honestly inspire me to make an awesome. Maybe not as crazy high as this but I do love the look and feel of all of them. Just I would like some Brotherhood of steel, institute, or railroad settlements. That doesn’t me they are terrible. It just shows these guys knows what it truly means to make a real settlement.
I've built some crazy shit. If I had proper recording equipment I would put my shit online for people to see.
I was so proud of my shack until I saw this video. Now I'm depressed!
Lol same here. Some of these builds make my settlements look like they were built by someone mentally challenged. However I have learned tips and/or tricks from instructional videos on YT. If only I wasn't on the console.
What I like most about this build is it causes mass lag spikes all throughout the commonwealth
My god. How did that guy make the circular room. Did he use mods?
Alterius Zhang Yep
You can do circular rooms even without mods.
if you look at the floor you can see that it clips through, which isn't allowed in the vanilla game.
Big Fudge Gaming
You can also clip objects in vanilla through easy bugs.
legendsOFnovember
Vanilla is a term for games in their basic form without any data-discs, dlcs or mods.
These legends making them huge ass settlements and here I am still trying to connect two fences.
