Wearing wool garments has really helped with my fibromyalgia. I have collected a good amount of woollen layers which I wear almost all year round. Having wool against my skin really helps, even my pyjamas are merino wool. I also try not to have anything else but my head and hands exposed, especially in the cold seasons. I thought I would share this as I’ve only learned it through experience, I don’t know if it is common knowledge somewhere else.
Yeah get it with the weather and chronic pain. Highs and lows coming and going always effect me. I have fibro and have learnt over the years I can still do the ssne things but slower and less of it in a day. Xx
Pearl is a darling. 😍. It’s still so green where you live. We have snow here and we are snowmobiling and ice fishing now. I just finished my winter crewel picture. It’s pine needles and pine cones. I need to get started on a spring summer and fall one so I can switch them out each season. Tomorrow I’m going frame shopping so I can get it put up right away. Take care.
Sounds absolutely gorgeous 😍 we don’t tend to get snow and frost until January although it has been an unseasonably mild winter here. It would normally be colder by now!
Rachel, I am enjoying your inspiring vlogmas videos so very much! I have a question - I’ve sewn a lot (quilts and garments) in the past. I’d love to get back into sewing garments again, particularly dresses. What dress patterns would you recommend for straightforward making without too much fiddly fitting until I rebuild my sewing confidence?
Your embroidery is beautiful. I have fibromyalgia that really puts me down from the pain plus osteoarthritis all over. My doctor has recommended the anti-inflammatory diet. It’s on the internet if you’re interested. It really helps with pain.
