Not really. The overdrive side is based on the Ibanez TS9 which, you can look it up, is known as the "Tube Screamer" and thus sounds like a smooth, warm break up. Not fuzzy at all
@@brandonmontgomery288 Thanks and welcome to 301! It was $69 bucks and they come up every couple months since I got mine. I would recommend it at that price. Metal is so complicated and not my expertise but I imagine you could get some good classic stoney metal tones from it. Probably not enough gain or the right tone for more modern metal sounds.
Saw it on the SDOTD today and had to see if it was worth it - looks like a good get for the price. Thanks!
It's up for SDOTD again.... 5/24/20
Nice! This is a really great pedal for $70. Thanks for the heads up!
I bought one also. 👍🏼
up for SDOTD again today! think i might have the pull the trigger
Yea, I saw that. It's a great pedal for that price.
Can I use it as a blues/rock overdrive?
sounds like a fuzz even on the overdrive setting... a ds-1 based drive indeed

What was the price for stupid deal?? Just saw it at $110(I believe) on open box. I love the look. Any good for a more metal tone???
Haha, looks like I'm subscriber 301.

Ahhh, I see! I'll keep an eye out for it at that price again! I like it's look and it'd probably work for my low gain playing! Thank you sir!
the tone really ads dirt.
Unbelievable
Dis stands for distortion. You don't seem to know much for a guy making review videos...
Bro, just play corduroy lmao
