I cannot love these videos enough. The precision, the aesthetics and the sheer sense of calm is very relaxing. Life just slows down for the 8 minutes or so while I watch every precise move and measurement. And the end with the coffee is almost as if I’m who she was cooking for 😂. Thank you. THANK YOU.
This video works even for a physics class: Taking advantage of the density for the final product is very underrated IMO. Here in Mexico, a popular variant of this cake is with chocolate sponge cake. It's usually half cake and half pudding. We call it "Chocoflán" o "Pastel imposible" (Imposible cake).
Just a small tip to everyone: you can place the dish atop the cloth inside the baking pan and carry that across the room and place it into the oven and *then* pour the hot water into the baking pan. It's safer and easier! 😉
@@bunbunmukkuri4718 Dude, I am simply trying to pass along a life hack that was taught to me years ago by a umm, let's see, who was it again? Oh, yes, I remember now..... He was a professional chef, you know, with Michelin stars? Ever heard of those? Yeah, I worked for him for a while. So, you know, you can get the same results if you put the water in the pan on the countertop or if you put the water in the pan once the pan is in the oven. I'm just trying to keep you from accidentally spilling water all over your kitchen floor or scalding your little dog. I am not saying her way is wrong, ya stupid sod.

@@micky4fun What arrrrre you talking about? My GOD, why does everyone have to turn everything into a fight nowadays? I was trying to do something NICE and be HELPFUL ... you know, prevent someone getting BURNED, possibly? Or just spilling water and having to clean it up. Or falling in the spilled water and cracking their head open. Yanno, what is WRONG WITH YOU that you have to PICK ON ME OVER THIS? Please just LEAVE ME ALONE. GO BULLY SOMEONE ELSE. Oh, and nice that you took the time to put your crappy comment into Google translate and post in Japanese. Fantastic that you put the ingredients in grams rather than the vague tablespoons and cups. This gives more accurate turnout. Japanese efficieny, arigato!
I am so in love with this recipe. I made it and came really well. It’s also perfect measurement for 2 to 3 people. Hope you get more and more blessings to share more simple and elegant recipes. Lots of love from Sri Lanka ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh dear HidaMari, Thank you very much for this recipe! This video is beautiful like every video that you make. The pudding is fantastic! I love it! Kind regards en have a good week!

@@cherryday7528 My mom started baking tarts with various vanilla sponges and cream/jam between them, then some frosting/fondant and sometimes figurines made with fondant (they were really cute, but also hard to make), also typical spanish desserts and sweets (maybe you can try making some of your country ( ╹▽╹ ) ). And can we appreciate the editing because at that moment you can see that a large piece of the custard stuck to the bowl and didn't come out. And yet when she pulls the bowl away the custard is perfect and round. Magic!

One of the best "Wow" Custard/Flan Cake recipes! Easy to make, just the right sweetness, and tender cake. Personally, I would double up the cake ingredients. However, this might not be necessary if using the pan the size the recipe calls for. I used 8" round cake pan rather than 6" so the cake is a bit thin when done. Overall, this will be my go-to custard/flan cake from now on. Thank you for sharing the recipe! Cheers!
Can you tell me what size bowl you use in mls? I want to make this but I need to make sure I'm using the right size. I know she gave the size in cm but the bowls I have aren't listed in cm. Thank!
Enjoying a piece of your delicious cream pudding custard cake with a cup of hot lemon tea. YUM! I will attempt to make this one without the cream cheese. Thank you!!!
I made this last night and ate it today after lunch. I don't know what I did wrong that the cake part didn't brown (I even cooked it extra 30 mins but it just won't). Still, I like this recipe, so easy to follow and make, and it's not super sweet which I really love.
Hi Hidamari, please if you could show how to make red velvet cake. Your channel is so nice that you have made me greedy for more. Thank you for being such a nice teacher.
In my country, we call it "Qudret Qader", and it's hella DELICIOUS! I made it last week but unfortunately I over beaten the eggs of the custard and it made many fluffs that it floated on top of the thick cake batter so the cake wasn't baked at all until I opened the grill and it kinda got a little burn XD! This time I'll try your recipe and won't overbeat the eggs again XD!

How did you know 🤣🤣 3:10am here for me
I love how you prefectly open the eggs
My bowl would be full of eggshell
cinnamon bun 😂
@@MrLuciusrm same lol 😂😂😂🤣🤣
There's a technique for that too.
If you crack the eggs on a flat surface versus the edge of a bowl, you're less likely to get little shards of the egg shell
Juicy Pear thanx for the tip
