The only problem with this modality is that to retain vision through a whole day, the eyes are overcorrected to an over refraction of around +0,50-0,75 D. Thus, the eyes need slight plus power in the morning, making it harder to read if your presbyopic.
I am 40 years old. My prescription us 3.5 left eye and 5.5 right eye. My right eye is significantly worsw than the left eye. I have using Ortho K for roughly a month. My left can see clearly during the day. But my right eye cant see clearly. What are the possible causes? Thanks
Hi Samuel, thank you for your question! Ortho-K does work for adults over 40 years old; it depends on their prescription, eye health.... Therefore, it is best to visit your local eye doctor to find out if you are a good candidate for Ortho-K.
Incredible.
