We use omnipaque 350 for IV procedures mainly. And iopamiro sometimes. I was recently asked about visipaque in an interview and I was found wanting. The question was when you will use visipque over omnipaque.
I just uploaded a quick video to help with some of your questions. I hope it gives you some insight. This is the best I can do at the moment. I didn't want to prolong the wait.
Damn I´m so jealous that you have ceiling access of airtubes at hand above pacient! If I had known about this possibilty before new CT installation.I would like to know if you preheat contrast media because that heater is short as you notice and another issue is that heating through such a thick wall of syringe take a time that we don´t ussualy have.I´m also using sack from baryum enema to discharge both syringes otherwise there is a huge sticky mess on the floor. Thanks for your videos.
Indeed! Thanks for the clarification. The warmer is very cool that it helps it being less viscous while entering the vein. We don't always have the warmer but it will still be fine bc it's being power injected and not manual. Some countries that have natural hot weather will sometimes leave their contrast outside in the heated weather. They don't have many scans lined up so they are able to take the time to prep that. What a way to use natural resources. Also!! We still have that sticky mess of contrast on outlet floor too. A warm or wet towel to lay over the contrast for an hour or so will help get that out. The stubborn ones will need to be scrapped off.

@@RADKhammany hello, why sometimes the injector blocked does not want to work the degital (on the screen to program the injection flow, I can not the screen is blocked)
Question: why is the screen to input the rate of contrast not working properly? Answer: In my opinion, a few things come to mind. The system is not synchronizing with the injector. So to troubleshoot it, try turning the injector off to reset it. Sometimes it might help to take the syringe from the injector off and make sure that there's no dried up contrast stuck in the injector. That can miss signal the computer. There's a spray to take it off, but if that's not available then use a towel with hot water to wipe it off. The heat can help take contrast off the syringe holder and even the buttons. Or even the floor ;) Hope that helps!! If not, there will be an error code that populates, make sure to take a picture of it or write it down for your biomed team.
Thank you for your feedback. I attempted to use Adobe to decrease background noise, but there's no way to shut the machine off. I have no strap on mic and it's all through my cellular phone recording. Do you have any suggestions ?
Hey Khamanny. It’s great that you are doing subjects that are simple like this. You should be a teacher.
Thanks Cindy for the feedback and answering some questions here. Teaching would be fun! They also have a nice schedule. Haha
You showed me more than the techs i work with
Awe, well I hope you can pass it along and teach others as well!

the heater is to maintain the warmed c.m not to heat for the reason u mentioned before.
in some hospitals they have warmer for the C.M

Salient!
thanks
You are welcome!
Is it true that abdominal ct scan with contrast has a bad side effect to your kidney?
It's important to check the levels of the kidney filtration (creatinine and BUN) before giving contrast for ANY scan.
Great question btw!
Thank you for the answer
You're most welcome @Project"R"
I had this done before and had no problem getting the money to billing to health insurance company. 😮😊
Thanks madam

Im not allergic to the dye and i had no issues with it at all.
Glad to hear you did not have a reaction to the contrast. It's scary for some ppl bc they can have a severe reaction
