    It's so hard to find people talking about amenorrhea cause by pcos and not hypothyroidism

    Hey River you can tell if you've ovulated or not by taking your temperature each morning as soon as you wake & before you get out of bed. If you get 3 elevated temps in a row it indicates ovulation & then the temp will drop right before your period. Just something to keep in mind that I found quite helpful :)

    • @RiverOfBeautyNZ
      @RiverOfBeautyNZ  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have heard that's a good way to tell, I might look into that. I have ovulation tests that I'm trying at the moment, but I kind of find them annoying to use - so taking my temperature might be a better idea. Thanks!

    Did you continue to take your metformin even after you got your period? Like during? I'm on my third week of metformin and finally got my cycle after 5 months 😭❤️ it's super heavy though. I did what you did as well take half doses to start and honestly the side effects weren't so bad. Some nausea and slight headache

      I had side effects of extreme muscle aches and pain. I took berberine with metformin and that helped. Berberine is a natural supplement. It prevents lactic acid build up.
