Wait to you get to NG+ this boss is ridiculous difficult for no reason. Also this method dosen't work in phase 2 on NG+. 80% of the time she goes after you even if the specter is next to her attacking her and also she does way more damage with little room to breath and takes about twice as much damage to to kill her
@saqibajaz6370 what worked for me in phase 2 was getting the purple grindstone to deflect her lightning bolt and charge attack right from the beginning. Then attack about twice and run/dodge away. Let her get to the specter and throw all your item at her. Also, watch your specters heal him every time it lowers to about 30%. Attack Laxasia from the back and if she focus on you run/dodge behind your specter. Another tip is if you do stagger Laxasia dont not get the critical hit on her i wpuld just keep attacking her till it goes away it does more damage that way along with the Specter doing damage to. Except for the lightings to deflect, dodge all her ground attacks works better
For those who have problem in NG+ here an easy method Phase 1. Use Trident for first round and puppet strings. Let her do her combis, she alwqys taunts you after 2 or 3 of them. Use puppetstring and get 1 extra hit in. Run again. Id you use a phantom you can also puppetstring when she focuses him. Extra: use Acid canister on her when she pierces the phantom. Six canister (with advance at lvl 50) takes a over half her health. 2nd Phase. Throw everything at her, used 6 Acid and Flame throwables and she was dead. Used this in NG++, so it should work easily in NG+
Whoa, didn't realize how squishy this boss was. Just checking out videos after the victory to see how others approached her. Using the Wishstone which causes the enemy to target the Spectre would help, too.
Running forward and under her the second she goes up worked the best for dodgeing her lightening bombs for me. Then everytine when i was under her, she would dive down towards the specter, not me.
Well I must have a special version because in the second phase she only focus's on me running away from my specter right at me and my throw able does nowhere near the damage shown here.What level are people fighting her at ?
Yeah same even though the path is pretty linear so it's easy without a guide to platinum the game, but some bosses such as the corrupted parade master, door guardian and the nameless puppet are on par if not worse than previous soulsborne/like games

Hold block, let go and press the button again when you see something coming your way. Usually you'll at least get the block if you miss the guard this way.
I was wondering the same thing. It looks like they just hold block and get perfect parries. I never see their weapon go down like mine does. 😂 Also I've farmed 12k ergo to buy throwables and she always targets me once I start throwing items at her. It's a waist imo. I'm so stuck at this damn boss!!!
Aegis legion arm too op for bosses get around it, agro tf out of her 1st phase to keep Ur spectre full health, 2nd phase 50/50 it with throwable spamming and agroing
For the first round Puppet string combined with a shock weapon works so well. For the second use fire weapon plus fire bombs, also if your Specta is low on helf yse the HP recovery in the cube to reboost his health. Better if you have 2 of these to use in the cube
After spending 4 days stuck on the door guardian this was a great change I haven’t beaten her yet but I’ve enjoyed this boss fight so far I just need to find a good farming spot for ergo 😆😆
@shummellgaming for me it was the bloody motherf@#$%#@ door guardian on ng+ with like 25 attempts, lexasia I'm able to get her down to a few hits atleast before I die

Use aegis legoin arm and just agro tf out of lexasia 1st phase your spectre will stay alive, 2nd phase avoid all the obvious attacks and then its 50/50 agro and throwable spam, I'm trying now on ng+ this boss can be a pain
She changes every single time I play through. Sometimes the first phase stomps half my Specter's health. Other times my Specter is near full health by 2nd Phase. Sometimes I cheese the first phase, other times she locks on to me and hits me with that 13-hit aggro followed by the unblockable fury strike. 🤣 Parry the lightning bolts and have the purification ampoule ready for when she does the gap-closing strike after the lighting. Also use your Fable-Art Block & Perfect Guard Grindstone for the 2nd phase. Should help alot. If you have time to squeeze it in, pop a resistance ampoule too.

Your video was informative enough to help me get though this extremely difficult boss my first playthrough. And while I thank you, and maybe it’s because the game barely came out, and no disrespect to you, but i don’t recommend people play like this. Specters, throwable’s, special grind stones, are all helpful, but inefficient. Playing my second play-through, i was able to understand the game a bit more and able to see what I was trying to avoid and what the game was trying to teach me. ** Parry’s are extremely important to master in this game. It’s not an option, it’s a requirement. The dodge and hit maneuver from BloodBorne can only take you so far. Parry help with staggering. Which by the way, is a lot easier to get enemies to stagger then to constantly use heavy hits wish are simply slow and open you up for attacks. Every boss from mid to late game, i used a specter. The specter is helpful at distracting the boss, but without learning or even challenging myself with parry’s, i’m simply nothing without him. My second play-through, i was able to defeat the Puppet King with no specter, and it felt more rewarding then it did with a specter. The game holds your hand a bit too much and i believe NG+ is we’re players should challenge themselves. Because theirs no more pressure to beat the game anymore. It’s simply about mastering it now.
There’s a wishstone that heals your specter if you wanna try that. During my NG+ run I started using it more. You can cast it when specter is low to heal it.
I give up for today. Tried many times. Getting to half of second phase but she's getting to me and killing me. Back to it tomorrow, all throwables prepared.
I got her first try with throwable after getting beat by her second phase a lot I just said fuck it and bought my inventory full and I killed her before I even ran out of throwables and at that time I had the basic level no upgrades for throwables I could only carry 5 and 4 now I can carry 8 and 6 so bosses and super easy if you just throw shit at em lol
Also a good tip you can put your enemy in stagger with the shot put balls so when they glow white and you can’t land a charge attack just throw a ball at em
The Fire ATK Damage has Dmg Reduction with it. Honestly they could've done a lot more with the Wishtones. With all the consumables, throwables, grindstones, and Wishtones it can be a complete mess trying to navigate your tool belt during a dang boss fight lol and you can't really win just parrying in this game.

killed her tens of times, and even in ng 2nd phase she was after me and not spectre literally 90 percent of 2nd phase time.
I spent 1 hour to pass this damn monster, then I came across this video and I passed on my 2nd try, thank you man.

He uses a cube that makes boss focus on the specter and not him. U can buy it for the golden fruit, also.
Bree Beaver@ Can open an augmentation that gives u a two cube uses not one, so, he can use two cubes, fire and focus on specter at the same time.

Hardest boss in the game by far. Took me 9 tries to beat her. The second phase is giga bullshit and does not belong in a souls game
I did this boss without any easy methods. But now I am at ng+ and she gives me a hard time xD

how do u get to use 2 wishstones for your specter?
forgot to clarify you said u had damage reduction on the specter and fire on it or am i misunderstanding you.
It buffs them with fire AND gives DR
You can get 2 uses in phase 3 in your p-organ tree as an upgrade
There’s a skill on the P-organ tree that allows you to use 2 wish stones in a boss fight.
