I like all your stuff but the chair. Don't have the knees for getting in and out of it, but love how it is so small. Appreciating how you used the tripod as a light holder. Dual purpose.

I like your small rice cooker, and portable stove. Stove is a bit too small for pot and easy to tip over. Retrofit into a larger base would be great and something to support the butane gas can.

Yes, the small portable burner is mainly for tiny backpacking pots. I just wanted to demo different options for people. They sell wider base butane for more stability. I just used that can because I had it layout around.

@@Tiny-Campers okay... that makes sense. When you were getting it all set... I thought to myself, that's an accident waiting to happen. And sure enough, water was all over the place. Good thing it was only water and not boiling hot. Thanks for your videos!

Everything is looking like it is working out well. Your hard work is paying off. Please let us know in a future video if there is anything you would change or do differently. I like it that you demoed two different ways of cooking rice and preparing coffee. If I had a microwave, I would certainly sacrifice the reduced quality for the speed and convenience of instant rice. Similarly with the two methods for coffee. One suggestion, which you might already have addressed, but I did not see, is to have a small fire extinguisher handy just in case. Great work and great shakedown video. Miller Time! Thanks again!

You reminded me to pack it :) I keep forgetting, but yes, I do have a compact extinguisher.

Another thing to consider is that Rice cooker is 1/8 the power consumption compared to the microwave. But, yes, microwave makes my cooking sooooo much easier.

Hmmmmn! I did not consider the difference in power usage for the rice prep. Yes, the cooker may be better even though
less quick. Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn’t considered that!
