I love this beautiful video, been living in this town for 25 years and I love it, a very beautiful city, with the small town feeling still, and the locals are a very laid back and really friendly, I manage cafe calypso here and you took a shot at it, thank you!
Hi Chris. Thank you for the info on San Clemente. A nice , small community with various things to do. A great getaway from the bigger city. I really like that crab and lobster grilled cheese sandwich. Yummy! Thanks for sharing.
I love all the Spanish architecture in San Clemente! The city looks really nice to visit, and the pier looks great to walk out on. I will have to check it out one of these days! I like how the Trestles is a great area to get away from the crowds!

Great job on this. Awesome. Thorough. In the dark period of my life that I was forced to live in wretched California, my 4 favorites N to S were Newport/Corona, Oceanside, San Clemente and Black's (note, piers at all but Black's). You did a great job of capturing what enjoyment I summoned there. (BTW additional tweaks I expected, but not critcizing, were a fast motion full jaunt down the pier and back, and a peek inside the restaurant. Though I escaped SoCal long ago I wonder if the restaurant changed. I remember a tasty maybe smoky fish there - maybe it was ahi or Mahi Mahi)
Ha ha!! I wrote that before the last 10 seconds of the video. It shows that you've already done Oceanside and La Jolla, making 3 of my top 4 !! What top 2 or 3 California coastal towns would you live in if you didn't have to commute?
