So, my theory is-like 28 Days later-the majority of Infected burn themselves out or starve. Commons tend to be seen vomiting up blood, bile, etc, they never eat or drink, they sometimes hit each other or just stumble around when inert. In the comics, we also see that as you're infected, you start seeing non-infected as monsters, demons, horrible hallucinations. But the Starers, Whispers, and Claws are all clearly mutations that SURVIVE. They eat, they drink, they're intelligent enough to keep themselves alive and live semi-coherently as a group. I bet other Specials have grouped up into hives-Witches around sugars, Smokers and Boomers and Spitters in sewers, packs of Hunters and Jockeys roaming around rooftops together. The only ones I'm not so sure of are Tanks, given how rare they seem to be, and Chargers. Chargers always seemed like they were half-finished, like there was a process that was yet to be complete for them. Imagine a Tank with a Bundle of Chargers that follow it around like the Alpha of a Gorilla community...
I feel like tanks would operate like bears. They live isolated and alone for most of the time. Eating a lot at one time and then resting. Whenever a tank event happens, you've simply disturbed a bear's rest.
We've seen special infected band together before if the old Passing trailer is any indication. I imagine Hunters would work in roaming packs that might make nests in high places or hard to reach places after successful hunts. Perhaps they'd mutate further into being really good at grabbing and carrying their prey away to shred up then just ripping them to shreds after pouncing on them. A more disturbing mutation I could think of for them is have them operate more like a shrike were instead of tearing up someone manually they grab them and impale them on something near their nest. Smokers I imagine would hang out in pairs with Spitters. They would set up traps with their tongues and the Spitter would then melt the unlucky survivor after they get dragged away after the trap is sprung. Think like a trapdoor spider kind of thing with a Spitter also lying in wait with him. Witches are as you said, I think they would hang out near sugar mills or any other sugary locations. I actually think ''Claws'' is probably a male mutation of them mixed with a Starer. Perhaps a Claws functions as a special infected that would silently hunt for other special infected colonies that don't usually get people that run into them often. So a Claws may pop up and start hunting and protecting a Starer Colony or Witch colony and they will share the unlucky survivors they catch and kill. Whispers would also I think be good at luring someone into a colony. Boomers I am not sure about. I actually think they'd die out quickly with lack of commons to help them. Either that or they would maybe mutate into being able to draw special infected of all types to their locations instead. A rare Boomer vomiting on you in that case could easily be a death sentence as that means every Hunter, Smoker, and so on could see you in a large radius. Even just a little bit of vomit being unaccounted for on your body or cloths would still mean you'd be getting hunted for a scary amount of time by the other SIs. Perhaps have them being far quieter and patient to compensate for the lack of commons. Tanks with a horde of Chargers following them would be scary af. Treat it like migrations really that CEDA needs to keep an eye on as a charger horde with a tank as the head means anyone in their way is probably fucked if they don't get out of dodge. I am not sure about Jockeys. They could also work with Hunters like you said but Jockeys don't seem to jump very high so I don't think they'd have the easiest time keeping up with them. Maybe have it be like Jockeys also hang out in packs or hordes which you can usually hear coming by their constant laughing? The danger with them maybe being like they mutated a way were they have developed claws that they can use to get themselves stuck into you as they ride you so removing them isn't easy as punting them off. Maybe jockey horde will ''play'' with anyone they catch via forming a ring around them and basically tearing chunks out of them or riding them around until they stop moving with them collectively laughing madly at the poor survivor the entire time. Also speaking of cut special infected. I wonder if the Screamer is around? They could be a alarm system for any colony. Ratman and Meatwall would also be interesting. I'd see Ratmen working with the Boomer maybe, the Boomer blinds and the Ratman's infected rats will overwhelm you in a skittering horde. Meatwall could be part of a tank and charger horde.
The Tanks are most likely all dead because of heart failure. In game if a Tank goes too long without hitting a survivor then it just straight up dies of a heart attack from the stress of being too angry.
Claws looks like a cut special infected, the one with the long fingers and has a long face. Perhaps in this universe the cut special infected are still out there, meaning the Meatwall and Rat man could be still there.

Indeed the green flu is the most terrifying zombie virus, because L4D take a place 2 weeks after the first infection and we saw witch, smoker, boomer, hunter, and Tank. And in L4D2 which was 3 weeks after the first infection I guess more special infected appeared: Jockey, spitter, charger. Then imagine how many special infected will appear after like 6 months
it would make a lot of sense for the infected to mutate into stealth with the amount of infected or humans there is left this whole series feels like a genuine aftermath of what happened
I do wonder how claws could fight against melee weapons, melee weapons in l4d2 are so busted that you could easily take a tank down in 3 seconds with a baton
Because its kinda realistic if you take some melee weapons, an axe being swinged at your head is a guaranteed kill, even more if the enemy is basically rotten meat
@@Partypooper038 tbf the tanks head is fairly small, I cant imagine it would resist an axe. This thing however, may be a different story, heck even its "neck" is fucking huge
Following the l4d2 logic i could theorize that obviusly claws Is hard to kill but it Is not inmortal like other special infected he may be bullet proof but he's Also not inmortal (I'm captain obviusly) but what about grenades like a Molotov, or maybe the special bullets like explosive or incendiary ammo or even the meeles
My theory is that the Starers are evolved Smokers, or at least a branch of Smokers due to them having similar deformities and preference to stalk targets (though that’s not of a Hunter trait.) the Claws are an evolved/male version of the Witch 100%. The only other special infected to have claws like that is the Hunter and it’s claws are too small (plus it runs from gunfire) So the Claws is definitely either an evolution of a Witch or a male form of the Witch that was never discovered due to it’s rarity and the Witch type being rare in general.
Your videos and the lore in each of them just keeps getting better and better! Keep up the amazing work, I'm loving to watch all the progress done here!
A male witch? Interesting but kinda plain? Same with the Starer, interesting but feeling less compared to the other special infected, might be dipping a little to much into uncanny or mandela catalogue style horror here. Which has it place, but to me it doesn't meld well with left 4 dead. Kinda sad that the other infected aren't being shown much. It's their show to, we only have seen like one or two commons and a boomer. But I'm still looking forward to more. Oh, and nice job with the animations, really smooth and all.
I love this analog horror so much, with the survivors form the base game working with CEDA like Rochelle and Nick, still want information on what happened to Coach and Ellis, I see tons of good potential next episodes in the new season, and gory stuff and horror stuff like that, love to see it and get a scare, like a squad of 40 people going in there and finding Malik and the rest of the squads mutilated and slightly consumed body, as said the Claws plays with its food in the video, hope ill see more of this good content, good luck at it.
Claws seemingly smiling at Maliks suffering and continued toying with Malik. The person that Claws once was must have been one sadistic mf. I have no doubt in my mind that Claws always knew where he was but just wanted to toy with him for as long as it could. (This series is actually so cool, keep up the amazing work❤)
As a long time fan of Left 4 Dead, this is a very interesting concept of exploring the 'new world' after the years of infection. (I lost track but i think one of these videos takes place in 2015) And the animation and design for these new (or cut) SI are incredible to watch. I like the story you built up leading to the downfall that led to the events of the 1st and 2nd game, and what happens after those events. If more is planned, I will definitely be keeping an eye on this... Also how you pulled that sequence from 4:20 - 5:03 was FUCKING incredible. I'll never forget that entire scene.
What if claws are actually the guardians of starer colonies? From what we know, Claws are effectively just bulletproof. And they seem more combat effective than normal starers. And they hang around the same building. Idk, just a guess
Following the l4d2 logic i could theorize that obviusly claws Is hard to kill but it Is not inmortal like other special infected he may be bullet proof but he's Also not inmortal (I'm captain obviusly) but what about grenades like a Molotov, or maybe the special bullets like explosive or incendiary ammo or even the meeles That could really damage the claws
I wonder where coach and Ellis are, there seems to be 2 organizations at play, CEDA and some other undisclosed org, this new CEDA thankfully kept Rochelle and Nick alive and im assuming coach and Ellis too

Claws seems to be the male version of a witch. I believe true clinical psychopaths get turned into it. Starers seem to be related to the Claws my guess is they are people who exbited Stalker like behaviours due to clinical conditions.
I would love this entire Analog Horror to be at Left 4 Dead 3! Now that I’m done, my theory is the claw, and the starer might be connected possibly hive mind like state, perhaps the starrer acts (besides being its own tough infected) as pawns for the claw. Which would explain why they can be docile at times. Maybe they’res no claw in the area so it leaves or perhaps it’s simply satisfyed. Got no idea but that’s my theory
So Claws sounds like an evolved Tank or Hunter, maybe a mutation similar to both? Anyway, heavy rifle + Molotov combo should help at least, maybe melee too.

Trained or not they were not trained or prepared for this kind of threat you would be venting like him too if you knew that your entire team was wiped out in seconds.
@@C.A.M584 It's still frustrating to watch knowing that his mumbling is what attracted the Claws and he essentially got himself killed
Him mumbling is probably bc to keep himself calm and stop the panicking
This channel is WAY too underrated with it's Left 4 Dead content.
The video is truly well done! The amount of detail and realism in this video has exceeded my expectations!!
And that was a jump scare at the end of Malik's video. It actually got me!!
I didn't expect Malik to die. I thought he would escape, and Claws would back off!
RIP Malik
Indeed the green flu is the most terrifying zombie virus, because L4D take a place 2 weeks after the first infection and we saw witch, smoker, boomer, hunter, and Tank. And in L4D2 which was 3 weeks after the first infection I guess more special infected appeared: Jockey, spitter, charger.
Then imagine how many special infected will appear after like 6 months
This has to be the best l4d content I have watched every video draws me in and makes me want more this is amazing
Malik forgot that side arms have infinite ammo skill issue honestly
The Claws was terrifying, wait till you see...
... The Meatwall
Freaky?👄👄🫦🫦🔥🔥🔥
rest in peace Malik Summers, we are all so sorry for him to did not escape from ''Claws''
2:57 finally got to see what’s back there, I remember these boxes in the mall before but I could not find him for the life of me
5:03 welp this quote from a hilarious parody video of l4d2 fits perfectly
“That is the scariest fucking thing I have ever seen in my entire life.”
Fun fact: We would have been fighting claws in l4d2, but it was cut, thank Gabe Newman
5:03 is literally the most scariest thing I've ever seen
nigga BLEW the flashbang in his face
Bro this soilder should used minigun or 10 bombs to survive
it would make a lot of sense for the infected to mutate into stealth with the amount of infected or humans there is left
this whole series feels like a genuine aftermath of what happened
Malik was fucking built different
Claws looked like it was smiling at Malik before that flashbang went off like it was taking pleasure from his suffering
It always smiles even in concept arts
I do wonder how claws could fight against melee weapons, melee weapons in l4d2 are so busted that you could easily take a tank down in 3 seconds with a baton
Because its kinda realistic if you take some melee weapons, an axe being swinged at your head is a guaranteed kill, even more if the enemy is basically rotten meat
@@Partypooper038 tbf the tanks head is fairly small, I cant imagine it would resist an axe. This thing however, may be a different story, heck even its "neck" is fucking huge
I propose this infected can counter melee attacks or straight up negate them, if you try to hit him, he'll just claw at you or throw you around
@@Oúltimopríncipeor it parries your attack and you are f*cked
Well, the claw was an unused infected in the actual game, and his function was being a "male witch", so actually he is sticking to the original source
(This series is actually so cool, keep up the amazing work❤)
The thought of being stuck in a mall full of extremely powerful monsters hiding in the shadows staring at you is horrifying.
5:27 dude could easily take the shotgun that was on that Safe room 🤓
This is also the first time we see a starer hive this big.
That could really damage the claws
I wonder where coach and Ellis are, there seems to be 2 organizations at play, CEDA and some other undisclosed org, this new CEDA thankfully kept Rochelle and Nick alive and im assuming coach and Ellis too
Coach is said to be like training new recruits in Switzerland and Ellis is... Recovering from something in riverside
@@Plumber2414 or recovering something from riverside
Im worried they may kill my boy since he doesnt really fit much into the horror aspect of this series

Dude this is so fucking awesome! You deserve a million views, everything is so well made, and that model is terrifying! Keep up the good work! ❤
I think the payday gang would be an interesting addition, I wondet what's up with them
in payday the green flu became a completely different thing in the end, instead being more like a biological weapon being able to enhance the strength of anyone that's infected with it, but killing them shortly after
Especially since there was a tie-in with the mercy hospital
I mean, since technically all of them could potentially assault the white fucking house, I believe they could make it this far.
True it would be interesting how the payday gang would hold up against the infection especially the modern infected that broke the saferoom door
wasn't it confirmed that the payday thing was not canon?
This series really means a lot to me, i've been a fan of analog horror for a while now, but this really clicked with me. It has some spelling errors and some kinks but this was still very enjoyable and it inspired to start creating something of my own. I'd love to see the remakes you are planning and whatever you come up with next. Great job.
I loved this! I really liked the POV perspective and action, this was really well done!
Would be sick if your rendition of Liberty Mall ever got made into a campaign
Add the payday gang. It would be a sick addition to the lore.
exploding a flashbang in your hand is such a badass move
New ceda video just dropped
i swear when i found out about this shit a week ago i fucking lost it when someone made a horror vhs tapes about left 4 dead i love this shit
How Random People See Zombies: Scary, Horrifying, dreadful, and Hopeless
That 4 survivors: fun, good jokes, coach menu request, Ellis stories, killin zombies fun and survive
Really good, malik calls a tad bit too much when he is in the mall though. Literally saying "I need to be stealthy to get out" which is like yeah duh no dip. It disturbs the tension and atmosphere of the mall which was really cool.
Rewatching the video and just realised that Claws is a cut infected concept from the second game.
the best part in specials is they evolved from a lifestile and threre's extreme varianty in zombies that way
It would be cool if the meat wall appears
We need this to be a fucking mod NOW, this shit has the BIGGEST potential to be turned into an actual Campaign
God, this is so good. I just discovered this channel today and have been watching all of the videos like a hawk. I can't wait for your next upload!
brah they gotta get hunk in that mall to fuck them up lol
really good video!
now this is peak, great work man
I think "Claws" Is a male mutation of the starer as stated in the video and the female mutation from a starer might be the witch we see in l4d
Or maybe Claws is a male version of the Witch? Or maybe a female version of the Tank? Just saying we don't know if it's connected to the Starers at all.
@@shotguntony4730 for me i specially think of "claws" as an "mutation" between starers and hunters, yk, hunters also have long claws
@@NAHUUUUU824Q23 That's fair. I just think it's more with the Witch since unlike the Hunter a Witch doesn't immediately attack unless if it's shot or if you make it too mad and Claws behaved kinda similarly.
@@shotguntony4730 i mean, if you look at it right, hunter is "far" from the enemy some times to "flank" em or just attack infront, do i explain myself? + claws aint docile, they just expect you to lower your guard or attack after seing you for long enough
@@NAHUUUUU824Q23 Yeah I do get what you're saying but counterpoint he got right up in the soldier's face and just stared at him for several seconds (which actually might confirm he's a Starer mutation) instead of flat out attacking. A Hunter would've just immediately attacked while a Witch wouldn't have. Plus he probably keeps following the soldier because he detonated a stun grenade in Claws's face.
This gave me chills ngl
Claws seems to be the male version of a witch. I believe true clinical psychopaths get turned into it. Starers seem to be related to the Claws my guess is they are people who exbited Stalker like behaviours due to clinical conditions.
I would love this entire Analog Horror to be at Left 4 Dead 3! I mean, new mutations such as the Starer, Claws, etc. It's crazy that the Green Flu keeps evolving into something worse than the Special Infected in L4D2. I think it would be an amazing horror-action sequel. This analogue feels like its canon when I know it's not. Its so well written!
We all can agree we would be paler then snow if we were running from a "claws" but poor summers though
So they're bullet proof... Time to start giving out haymakers.
God, I love this series. Some call it an ARG, but to me it feels very much like an Unfiction project.
❤️❤️❤️
The more i see these, the more i think how well Hunk would do i those scenarios.
this is frickin awesome
I'm loving the series but goddamn, reading the text without needing to pause is a challenge
10:20 tbh its his fault, he didnt shut up for second, of course it would find him
master of sfm ,i need all this maps in one campaing in my l4d2
So Claws sounds like an evolved Tank or Hunter, maybe a mutation similar to both?
Anyway, heavy rifle + Molotov combo should help at least, maybe melee too.
maybe starers and claw work in a hivemind type of way, the starers serve to seek survivors and the claws serve to hunt them
If I was Malik and I was in that saferoom I would have grabbed the shotgun in there AFTER I contacted Rochelle and the moment I see it going after me, my only potential last words would be: "Smile for the dentist" I would not die running, id die FIGHTING
His left arm was injured after the flashbang, cant use shotgun with one arm without risking another injury
@@Roki1995 theoretically you can
7:19 just got here, so based on how the claw was nearly sending that door off its hinges. It’s possible the claw is the thing that compromised the other escape room that failed the inspection. And 2. He said left hand was fricked? Had me confused since that’s clearly his right hand, unless the footage was mirrored? Since it’s a body cam
Is it me or are the infected becoming more monstrous now
vi que justo salio un nuevo video del creador y enserio no puedo esperar a que ya saques otro video
Rochelle still alive! Now where my boy coach?
According to lore, he is in Switzerland training new recruits.
@@thegeneralvilla2784 i am concerned about ellis like what does it mean recovering encounter is he recovering from a whisperer starer or possibly a claws attack or is he recovering victims from said encounters
Stunning work, keep it up!❤
NGL if a L4D3 ever were to actually be released I hope that they somehow see this ARG and get inspired to make the two of these special infected in their game.
the starer being like the version of the witch that can be avoided
and Claws that acts like another version of the Tank that can randomly pop up in spots where a Tank would instead of the regular Tank.
I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS SERIES!!!
Malik will get grab shotgun.
k now ik nobody mentions this but i love how the buildings are now overgrown and in ruin showing that the Americas have fallen to a massive degree to the point where their cities are now reclaimed by nature all because a damn cell wanted to troll humanity
12:28 hahahaha. Thanks that means a lot. Wonderful watch and animation
Dude that is SCARY as HELL lol, this is really great
i dont think any one notices but he is using cut special infected for this animation and i think its fucking awesome
i know right
Im absolutely loving the series but if we ever get a jacket from payday reference like a psycho going around burnjng infected with a flame thrower like in the white lie series that'd be sick
rochelle aytes? like the rochelle we know in l4d2?
The “Claws” kinda looks like one of the scrapped special infected L4D was going to have. idk if it was for L4D1 or L4D2 or if it was concept art. -10:46 -
Valve refuses to finish the story so we get creative fan stuff like this
Do you think in the next installment you could add logs of how the other special infected were discovered? Great work btw! Well-earned subscription!
If you'd like a small bit of constructive criticism if you're showing bodycam pov of a character have them talk less and react more if that makes sense. The audio over the phone call and the screaming at the end were all that was really necessary to make us feel for Malik, we didn't need to hear him yap every 5 seconds to confirm the situation he's in is a bad one, we could see it.
That said claws is a great pants-shittingly terrifying thing and I cant wait to see how this series develops.
20 went in, 3 came out.
Malik actually could've survived
If he actually continued walking quietly while looking behind instead of standing there just to look at infected
But to be fair I would also freeze too
That's just scary
Claws The claws is a Mutaion 4 Meters feet tall The claws has Bullet proof FLESH because Mutaion have been Create monsters
My question is how Nick managed to get military grade gaer, and what happened to the rest of the L4D2 survivors?
Watch the previous videos, it's all explained there
if the claws is here then i wonder if the meatwall is gonna appear
If he was just quieter and more a little more relaxed he would have been fine also that fucking flashlight did not help
We need a dead center map like the one in the video
