As it shows, you have put a lot of effort into making it sound as similar as possible to N64's original game, albeit still adding your own artistic inputs (like harmonies and gameplay sounds AND probably researching the best plugins/instruments), which I greatly admire. I really look up to your work!

Reading these comments, I’m shocked that everybody else overlooked Control ost. This modernized version of the original (which is already a stand-alone 90s BOP) is Divine. I felt like I was back home in summer 1998 watching my older brother do a mission on 00 difficulty. Nice!
@The One Who Laughs there's already been one, (on xbox? I think) Im not sure how well received it was. This soundtrack does it for me though as far as reflecting the original.
This captures all the music perfectly, and even manages to sound better. The production and use of a real guitar is executed so well. And the tracks flow together at points, making it easy to listen to. The sound effects such as the siren from chemical plant and such really help bring it to another level in a nostalgic sense. Well done.
I really cannot emphasize how much I love this video, friend. The sound is so clean, the updated instruments work beautifully, and it's just the perfect blend of faithful and something new. This has been my go-to video while in quarantine for months now, and I have to thank you for creating this.
Oh hell YES! THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS WONDERFUL PROJECT!!! Goldeneye: the video game of my teenage years. Long may it live!
Archives and Streets has always been my favourites from the OST. You perfectly nail Streets with its powerful and martial military cadence, and determinated Bond theme
Such an excellent example of staying true to the original but giving it a perfect portion of a modern touch. Basically a remaster and an upgrade. You honestly could essentially copy and paste the original game with modern graphics, slap this soundtrack on it, and you’d be all set.
I liked this a LONG time ago, but listening to it now… ITS AWESOME! The sound effects added in each stage are great too. Makes me wanna dust off the N64 play it. Great job!
I'm amazed how closely you managed to recreate some of the sounds like the creepy male choir in the title screen song and the sound what the I like to call "hitting a frying pan in an echo chamber". Also, the drums are slamming just like in the original. Great work!
@K-Tech I personaly believe that this sfx is half of game's success. It's a unknown strange sound with reverb that fits perfectly in the game's (usually underground) stages and the Bond atmosphere / cold war / incomplete e - f# - g - f# loop. Also it repeats in a lot of tracks, a think i like in music (motif) and becomes recognizable.
@K-Tech I knew that video but thanks! Also, tell me a music sample of a video game MUSIC track that remain in history and analyzed 20 years later, none! I put the word music in caps because a youtube smart-ass user will tell me about a sample of player sfx or something.
It's often rare (heh) to see a remix that perfectly captures the original feeling of the source material, yet here you are rocking it like a natural. Good work, my dude!
Amazing work, these songs are attached to my mind forever, they are indeed good OST tracks by any criteria in the gaming world. Phenomenal job man, nailed.
Unbelievable! Such nostalgia. The Baron’s laugh in the Egyptian track caught me unawares; chills! Took me back to being a little kid when I had to leave the room whilst my brother played that level as I was so terrified of him!
I have listened to this so many times, in the absence of the full uncompressed library of the composer's original work, this is a very close second. My only comment would be I could have done with one more loop of Frigate, it's just a little too short!
Kinda now want to see some sort of map based on Goldeneye 64 in Smash now. Especially since 64 Bond was once considered a candidate for the smash roster.
Probably the best reimagining of this ost ive ever heard. Stayed true to the original tunes, but added little tidbits here and there to make it distinguishable from the old school version. Well done!
yeah I know I'm old, but this game is going down in the hall of fame. It wasn't only SO great for its time; it legitimately still holds up WELL; better than most first person shooters on newer consoles, I would argue. This game is an absolute masterpiece.
Darkened Light Exactly. Me too. This is one of the most "obviously tense" pieces in the game. Or at least "prolonged/extended tense pieces" in the game. I like that you're into the subtle details. Never give up on those.

"Now it all starts to come together thanks for this Intel Sir. "
👍 😎
The importance of a good music score can't be understated, both in movies and in games. Great work redoing this masterpiece
Agreed👍
This remake of Goldeneye (one of my favorite games of all time BTW) is a true masterpiece! Amazing work! ❤️✨
Cradle has always been and always will be my favorite song from this game next to facility and surface, and you did a great job recreating all of them
I always thought Frigate and Streets were amazing, along with Aztec. However, I like them all.
56:21 *Aztec starts playing*
Everyone who's played this level: Oh Hell No, not this place...
Mad respect - this is a masterpiece remix, and has become a new staple in my work/study playlist. Thank you. If you did Perfect Dark too, I would dedicate the rest of my life to getting a statue of your fine self built.
Silo is a fucking bop! This is the official soundtrack of the game for me now.
Nice work, man!
You deserve the entire universe. Congratulations!
"For the universe Brandon?"
"No... for me."
I guess the world wasn't enough?
@Virtual Pro Wrestling Matches "You've had your 8, now have my 80"
The universe is not enough
m nvm kill kill o
Reading these comments, I’m shocked that everybody else overlooked Control ost. This modernized version of the original (which is already a stand-alone 90s BOP) is Divine. I felt like I was back home in summer 1998 watching my older brother do a mission on 00 difficulty. Nice!
Double-O-Funk
Imagine a full blown remaster for the Nintendo Switch with this updated soundtrack.
My body is NOT ready.
@The One Who Laughs there's already been one, (on xbox? I think) Im not sure how well received it was. This soundtrack does it for me though as far as reflecting the original.
@@penguinjay that's GoldenEye XBLA for the 360 sadly it was never released because Nintendo of Japan said no.
@@Dash120z well it's been leaked now :D
This captures all the music perfectly, and even manages to sound better. The production and use of a real guitar is executed so well. And the tracks flow together at points, making it easy to listen to. The sound effects such as the siren from chemical plant and such really help bring it to another level in a nostalgic sense. Well done.
Just found this and it's absolutely epic, ace job
CRADLE IS INSANE
Dang, I just warped back to 1997 and it was amazing! Fantastic remake. 10/10
I will return....
to listen to this again :D
if a GoldenEye 007 remaster is ever released, this could be the alternate set of tracks, this is amazing!
I grew up on Goldeneye. This is AWESOME.
Me too. I love Goldeneye!
@Damian Howard golden vinyl?
Silo is absolutely incredible.
I really cannot emphasize how much I love this video, friend. The sound is so clean, the updated instruments work beautifully, and it's just the perfect blend of faithful and something new. This has been my go-to video while in quarantine for months now, and I have to thank you for creating this.
Love seeing all the OG’s come and listen to these tracks. What an album and what a game.
Classical music never dies.
Surface (Night)... love it!
Proper quality remake, excellent work. Love the snippets of in game sound effects.
Facility just hits hard. that nostalgia man if only you could re-live certain events
Man you not lien bro 💯
Oh hell YES! THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS WONDERFUL PROJECT!!!
Goldeneye: the video game of my teenage years. Long may it live!
Man, adding in those low guitar chuggs in Dam makes it SOOO heavy and determined! Excellent.
Amazing. Thank you for making this. One of the most underrated videos on TH-cam, how does this not have millions of views? You deserve a grammy
Archives and Streets has always been my favourites from the OST. You perfectly nail Streets with its powerful and martial military cadence, and determinated Bond theme
Man this really captures the spirit of Goldeneye
Such an excellent example of staying true to the original but giving it a perfect portion of a modern touch. Basically a remaster and an upgrade. You honestly could essentially copy and paste the original game with modern graphics, slap this soundtrack on it, and you’d be all set.
I listened to the whole thing. This was so well done. Goldeneye 25 in 2022 I hope it works out
I liked this a LONG time ago, but listening to it now… ITS AWESOME! The sound effects added in each stage are great too. Makes me wanna dust off the N64 play it. Great job!
the bongos on Control are sick. you absolutely nailed this project
HELP I CAN'T TURN MY SPEAKERS UP ANY LOUDER!
Such a banging soundtrack, Kirkhope, Norgate & Beanland truly nailed it!
@K-Tech It's not childhood, it's art. Pitty today's artists can't create art anymore.
It's often rare (heh) to see a remix that perfectly captures the original feeling of the source material, yet here you are rocking it like a natural. Good work, my dude!
14:42 -15:00 forgot how amazing this sounds!
Holy smokes, amazing job! Grant Kirkhope released a few "HQ" versions, so it's great to have something similar to the missing tracks
Been listening to this all day. It keeps the vibe of the original but heavily upgrades the samples and bass. LOVE IT
Amazing work, these songs are attached to my mind forever, they are indeed good OST tracks by any criteria in the gaming world.
Phenomenal job man, nailed.
You've even got the watch beep in there for the pause music, that's just sublime. Tremendous work, clearly a labour of love.
Well done!
Love how you gave these old favorites a new twist, while remaining true to the original. Very well done.
yeah I know I'm old, but this game is going down in the hall of fame. It wasn't only SO great for its time; it legitimately still holds up WELL; better than most first person shooters on newer consoles, I would argue. This game is an absolute masterpiece.
This is incredible! You really nailed the introduction to Surface. The subtle bass and everything. I got chills like crazy when I heard that one.
Darkened Light Exactly. Me too. This is one of the most "obviously tense" pieces in the game. Or at least "prolonged/extended tense pieces" in the game.
I like that you're into the subtle details. Never give up on those.
Goldeneye 007 has always been one of my favorite overall video game soundtrack and these remastered ones are pretty awesome. Nice work.
That pause menu for me
Every song on this playlist is pure gold, but the one that gets me vibing is "Streets", right at 39:45. Great remix!
Awesome effort. Love the drums, nice guitar tones too. Punchy and grungy without being too dominant.
