    Snow tires are priceless! Best investment you'll make if you drive it in the winter. Yes, they do make that much of a difference ⛄❄️🌨️

    Get 4 snow tires. Dont risk 2. I drove through actual snow storms last winter in my 2017 GT. I had tools in my trunk for weight. People were stranded and spinning out and I got home safely. Its scary though this is the last winter I endure with the mustang.

    Great video. Though I would recommend kitty litter over salt for trunk weight. Salt is the enemy after all and kitty litter will also help you out if you dig yourself into a situation (so i've heard).

    Also don’t wash the car if the temperature outside is going to be below 20 degrees. Newer mustangs have problems with locking mechanism and your doors will not shut tight. I’ve got 2006 mustang GT and had to learn the hard way.

    thank for tips, really helpful video. i got a garage and i park my car inside, that's really effective as well, but
    the worst thing is the SALT. I do rust proof coating every year but still you have to take it to car wash more often.

    Snow tires - note the performance rating of the tires - you do not want a lower rating on the rear vs. the front. that can cause the front to turn before the rear and put you into a skid situation. Lastly. drive slower in bad conditions. you never know when you are going to hit a patch of ice or packed snow on the road. Keep your head lights, fog lights, and rear lights cleaned off so that other drivers can see you and you can see them, or the random deer that happens across the road. Be safe and take it slow.

    CJ Pony Parts, I purchased a 2019 mustang GT with premium 1 package. The dealership didn't check the special order. I purchased it on 11-13-18. The rear tires and rims have the 255/40 R19. I have contacted Ford the dealership and the are both saying it's the other persons responsibility. Do you know or have any suggestions on what I can do or who to contact ? Thanks in advance

    I have the best winter driving tips. Don't drive a Mustang in the winter. Unless it's old and beat up. I wouldn't recommend driving a newer model in the winter. Roads are broken and the salt will ruin your Mustang.

  • @Angelmukwa
    @Angelmukwa 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Nice vid. Its lacking. You need to touch on diffential and differential maintenance. Alota mustangs have open differentials and are garbage on snow and ice. Next, stock mustangs are too low. If a person is going to use a mustang as a daily driver on snow, they should highly consider lifting the car a little. Even just 2 or 3 inches . This allows for more aggressive tires like grabber ATs to be able to be used. Most coil over shocks should be able to lift and lower, so if you want to use street tires in the summer you can. I wish ford would go the way of the charger and make a awd option for mustangs.

    Just bought a ecoboost base 235/50r18 coming from a 2012 genesis coupe. What winter tires would u reccomend most( as ill have to buy a new set) I'm looking at the bridgstone ws90 in a 235/55r17( want slightly bigger tire, smaller rim- this keeps speed difference near identical). Would you agree or should I choose a different tire/oem size setup

    • @cjponyparts
      @cjponyparts  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Bridgestone is a good tire and that size should be fine for winter use.
