So you spray waterbase on clear metal after grinding of the factory primer on the corners?
No spot with acid or epoxy first to cover it up?

Is that the 1.5 or 1.3? And what psi do you spray at with this gun? Mine seems to have a top/bottom heavy pattern over 28psi (with the 1.3)

Try dropping your pressure to between 16 and 24 psi

Use lower pressure for base coat and 30psi for clear. Take apart the gun and leave it soaking in thinners
