In beggninng you shouldn't focus on language rather focus more on programing means it doesn't matter which language you learn just spend time on fundamentals truly understand their importance and working and once you knoww programing construct its easy to switch from one to another language if you're completely begginners i will suggest you to go with one language that your uni is teaching don't try to learn different languages at once in beggninng and for concepts see itc Play list on channel its first half is in python but concepts are still thr same

However, once you are through the course, come back and watch this playlist as soon as possible. That way, you will know what you missed (if anything).

the flow is still the same start with linux(specifically ubuntu) and typing then learn core programming instead of directly jumping into development as you had alot of time so take time to experiment with things as much as possible beacuse it teaches you most and dont use lms specially chatgpt when you are learning then move to web and cover breadth once you have cover all breadth sir said than certianly you can identify your intrest and then go in depth also see system administration videos best of luck

I've notticed that You recommend that cs student who is in undergrad do not need to specialise in any one skill or domain rather he should get a know how of all domains but nowadays most jobs require a mastery in any specific skill.. sure, there are graduate trainee software engineer type jobs as well but they are quite less wheras competition is quite high on those jobs.. what is your view on this?
sir suggestion is that you don't choose fields before the degree starts or on opinion of other you should explore almost all(in demand) fields which shouldnor take more than 2 years and for rest half of degree you can cotinue with one field of your intrest continue it and make your fyp on ir becuase this will be infrormed decision and also you will get help in that particular field if you have seen many parts of cs and also it will be much more easy to shift from technology to another which is need of today so in short main focus should be on problem solving rather than spending four years on learning syntax of specific langugae and framework

almost all maths courses taught in cs are essential for calculus you can start with three blue and one brown essential of calculus they also had playlits for linear algebra after taking both these courses take sir numerical computing course which explain their application and then move to probablity playlist you can also watch gilbert strange lectures on linear algebra and for discrete take a loot at coursera's Introduction to Discrete Mathematics for Computer Science Specialization but during all these courses try to find the why of subjects instead of memorizing formulas majority student hate maths beacuse they think maths is all about memorizing those large formulas which didnot make sense at all and then solving book question form it (which we think is useless) but in cs you dont need to memorize formulas all you need in concepts because computer can store and calculate at much highter speed but it cannot thiink so approach maths as tools for viewing this complex world and identifying patterns giving predictions giving solutions and last but not the least to gain insights may be i have written many useless things as well but may be sir will correct it (if you are intrested in game development take alook at freya holmer game maths playlist)

The issue is that i dont like web dev, and want to pursue ai as electives in ending semesters so is learning web development etc like other technologies which i wont be using important.....?
Firstly without learning or exploring all fields how do you know that which Field you love most you're most probably taking decision on "in terms" or other people words and secondly for ai even if your learn ai you need to integrate it with some development to provide interface to end user even if its apis so you don't learn everything beacuse you love it but you learn it to get more tools for solving problem

If you want to just pass the course, this isn't the channel for you. These are not the right questions to ask. Almost none of this matters in the long run. Go through the "how to approach learning" playlist first and then ask more questions. You'll get better responses inshaallah.

If you're talking about the grade, practice practice practice. There is no shortcut. If you're talking about understanding, watch the intro to computing playlist.
Hello sir Sir mein abi second semester mein Aya hu or hamara ek subject calculus and analytical geometry hai Kiya AP ne is ka course banaya hai or sir agar nahi banaya sir please guide kare is tarha se karu Q ke hamein Jo padhata hai wo ek math ka sir hai Jo hamein deep mein bi padhata hai programming ke hisab se Kitna or kis approach se is subject ko Lena hai
For calculus, just make sure you don't fail the subject. After that, watch the "essence of calculus" playlist by 3Blue1Brown to get a feel of what calculus is all about. When you are done with linear algebra, watch my "numerical computing" playlist. That will tie together linear algebra and calculus.
calculus part generally falls under the symbolic computation. for application you can either use matlab or python(sympy,sagemath,scipy) these libraries helps you work with actual functions i think mit course also had application with matlab but course depends upon your intrest but in general start with defining function and random varaibles of calculus in coding and then go their derivatives and then higher order derivatives and also see some automatic differentiation you can easily find courses for caluculs for ml/deep learning just input your field and for symbolic computation there are very few tutorials but i found this channel named Jan Verschelde it has complete playlist on it with sage maths but certainly i am student i dont know much about it i think sir can answer you coreectly these are just my opionion (dont foget to watch three blue one brown and sir numerical playlits)

For cs almost all maths courses are essential and how do you know you are weak at maths i mean some students can't remember tons of formulas and can't do calculation quickly and think they are not good at it maths is not about it maths is about getting insight as long as you understand underlying concepts computer can handle calculation efficiently sir also had two maths Play list probability and numerical computing check it as well vu vourses are also good first get strong theoretical foundation then move to application

In beggninng you shouldn't focus on language rather focus more on programing means it doesn't matter which language you learn just spend time on fundamentals truly understand their importance and working and once you knoww programing construct its easy to switch from one to another language if you're completely begginners i will suggest you to go with one language that your uni is teaching don't try to learn different languages at once in beggninng and for concepts see itc Play list on channel its first half is in python but concepts are still thr same
Wa'aalaikumussalam. For students whose university is using a different langauge, I usually suggest that they focus on their university course more. This way, their GPA will not suffer. However, once you are through the course, come back and watch this playlist as soon as possible. That way, you will know what you missed (if anything).

In one of your videos you mentioned that we should build our typing speed without looking at the keyboard. My question is that every keyboard is designed differently and has different dimensions so how will that work? Secondly which keyboard and mouse are you currently using?
I think once you got comfortable with touch typing adopting new keyboard untill its completely differently desighned because i have used both desktop and laptop and the keyboards are different

Most of your advice is for university students, I am in Fsc first year. Is all your advice applicable to me aswell? Especially the one in which you said to cover the whole web in 2nd semester. Since I have alot of time, Can I make more than basic programs in each framework/technology or should I just stick to basic hello world?

the flow is still the same start with linux(specifically ubuntu) and typing then learn core programming instead of directly jumping into development as you had alot of time so take time to experiment with things as much as possible beacuse it teaches you most and dont use lms specially chatgpt when you are learning then move to web and cover breadth once you have cover all breadth sir said than certianly you can identify your intrest and then go in depth also see system administration videos best of luck

I've notticed that You recommend that cs student who is in undergrad do not need to specialise in any one skill or domain rather he should get a know how of all domains but nowadays most jobs require a mastery in any specific skill.. sure, there are graduate trainee software engineer type jobs as well but they are quite less wheras competition is quite high on those jobs.. what is your view on this?
sir suggestion is that you don't choose fields before the degree starts or on opinion of other you should explore almost all(in demand) fields which shouldnor take more than 2 years and for rest half of degree you can cotinue with one field of your intrest continue it and make your fyp on ir becuase this will be infrormed decision and also you will get help in that particular field if you have seen many parts of cs and also it will be much more easy to shift from technology to another which is need of today so in short main focus should be on problem solving rather than spending four years on learning syntax of specific langugae and framework

almost all maths courses taught in cs are essential for calculus you can start with three blue and one brown essential of calculus they also had playlits for linear algebra after taking both these courses take sir numerical computing course which explain their application and then move to probablity playlist you can also watch gilbert strange lectures on linear algebra and for discrete take a loot at coursera's Introduction to Discrete Mathematics for Computer Science Specialization but during all these courses try to find the why of subjects instead of memorizing formulas majority student hate maths beacuse they think maths is all about memorizing those large formulas which didnot make sense at all and then solving book question form it (which we think is useless) but in cs you dont need to memorize formulas all you need in concepts because computer can store and calculate at much highter speed but it cannot thiink so approach maths as tools for viewing this complex world and identifying patterns giving predictions giving solutions and last but not the least to gain insights may be i have written many useless things as well but may be sir will correct it (if you are intrested in game development take alook at freya holmer game maths playlist)

I recommend a Python book which is given in the "intro to computing" playlist. Rest, don't try to read everything all at once.

Sir if a person is interested in ai field, is it important for him to also learn other technologies like web development etc....
The issue is that i dont like web dev, and want to pursue ai as electives in ending semesters so is learning web development etc like other technologies which i wont be using important.....?
Firstly without learning or exploring all fields how do you know that which Field you love most you're most probably taking decision on "in terms" or other people words and secondly for ai even if your learn ai you need to integrate it with some development to provide interface to end user even if its apis so you don't learn everything beacuse you love it but you learn it to get more tools for solving problem

Sir the playlist you're recommending is about introduction to computing but in Fast Now i guess the syllabus has been changed or i dont know why....we are taught programming fundamental which starts with basic programming logics like algorithm writing, flowchart making.....I am just confused either this course (introduction to computing cover all the 8 semester or my first semester ) .... This ITC course is what I think is best for learning CS. I don't agree with syllabi of most universities. If you want to just pass the course, this isn't the channel for you. If you want to learn well (and passing with great grades will be a side effect), then keep watching and you'll learn a lot inshaallah.

For calculus, just make sure you don't fail the subject. After that, watch the "essence of calculus" playlist by 3Blue1Brown to get a feel of what calculus is all about. When you are done with linear algebra, watch my "numerical computing" playlist. That will tie together linear algebra and calculus.
calculus part generally falls under the symbolic computation. for application you can either use matlab or python(sympy,sagemath,scipy) these libraries helps you work with actual functions i think mit course also had application with matlab but course depends upon your intrest but in general start with defining function and random varaibles of calculus in coding and then go their derivatives and then higher order derivatives and also see some automatic differentiation you can easily find courses for caluculs for ml/deep learning just input your field and for symbolic computation there are very few tutorials but i found this channel named Jan Verschelde it has complete playlist on it with sage maths but certainly i am student i dont know much about it i think sir can answer you coreectly these are just my opionion (dont foget to watch three blue one brown and sir numerical playlits)

in a long term you dont want to remain at same position in hierarchy so in job or teaching you will eventually move up in hierarchy because after some time you energy will come down so you want to be in position where you can code but you dont have to if you dont want to
