      @@recluze I didn't have any prior knowledge of Computer Science when I enrolled in BS AI back in 2021. I didn't even know anything about universities except GPA system. There were only 4-5 teachers in the 3 years of my study who knew me as well as anyone else in their course. The others didn't care about knowing their students. The GPA system is so biased. It is relative and so it affected my grades badly. Only one student in our class would not cheat, all of the rest would remain in an unhealthy competition. They would beg the teachers for improving their grades in the name of rechecking etc. one of my friend, who now is a very good friend of mine had once ignored to help me write my first code(hello world )in c++. Similar things happened throughout these three years. It pushed me in a state of overthinking and mental fatigue (which now I regret). Now I know I should have just motivated myself back then but instead I lost interest in studies and felt alone. There are many other stories as well but it is getting too long so maybe next time

    Great points, but I disagree on the value of paid courses compared to free content like TH-cam. While free resources offer accessibility, the depth and quality of the content in paid courses often surpass what's available for free. Instructors like Angela Yu, Colt Steele, and Jose Portilla on Udemy provide comprehensive, expertly curated courses that are specifically designed to build knowledge step-by-step, often including real-world projects, practical exercises, and community support that simply can’t be matched by the fragmented and often superficial tutorials found on TH-cam. The structure and depth these courses provide are essential for mastering complex concepts effectively.

    I tried changing myself 2nd semester onwards and worked really hard just to know that I don't even know why I studied Programming Fundamentals in the first place.
    I ask everyone out here that if that's the case, if there are much better courses online then why should I attend university? Its just a wastage of time and ruining our futures.

    It was great to listen Dr. Nauman. He said that we should share our knowledge with others but because of our selfishness we don't do that. But there is one other side of it, if any student who has knowledge of something, and he shares it with his batch mates, the other students will think that he is just doing it to stand him out of the crowd and they will be some what jealous and not ready to learn from him. Its one of a dark fact.

    The CS students enrolled in 2024 will have to face some really tough situations on the time of their graduation if things keep going as they are. Market is already saturated and i dunno where it will go from here. May Allah help everyone. Ameen

      Ameen. That's the point of this podcast (and my channel in general). You can't change the market but you can improve yourself to the point where market saturation does not hold you back.

    Every body talks about that "kam k bandy nahi milty"
    but the issue is sahi banda, sahi kam seekh hi nahi raha.
    Pahly ham bagty thy engenering aor doctry k pechy ab sab ko it k pechy laga dia hay without knowing that k wo banda/student is capable of doing it or not.!!!!

    If you are a student and you have a course that is taught by Dr Nauman on his channel, you should not look any place lese on the internet and learn from there, he is phenomenally good in teaching.

    • @recluze
      @recluze 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for your kind words. There's so much stuff on the channel that students don't even know what courses are on there. I just had a student seem surprised the other day that I had a probability course.... =]
      So now I just tell others to recommend the playlists page on the channel instead of the channel itself.
